Senior A box lacrosse in Canada | |

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) is a men's Senior A box lacrosse sanctioned by the Canadian Lacrosse Association. It consists of seven teams, based in cities throughout southwestern British Columbia. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Major Series Lacrosse champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.
Anthony Cosmo is a former professional lacrosse goaltender and current goaltending coach in the National Lacrosse League. Cosmo is a three-time NLL All-Star, and was named NLL Goaltender of the Year in 2007. Cosmo also plays for the Brampton Excelsiors (MSL) Major Series Lacrosse Senior A Men's league.

Burnaby Lake is a lake located in Burnaby, British Columbia and is the focal geographic feature and namesake of Burnaby Lake Regional Park. The lake occupies 3.11 square kilometres of land, and is home to a large variety of wildlife. At least 70 species of birds make the lake and surrounding areas their home, and about 214 species of birds visit the lake throughout the year. The park has been managed by the Metro Vancouver Parks Department since 1977.
Bill Copeland Sports Centre is a 2,000-seat, multi-purpose arena in Burnaby, British Columbia. The arena is primarily used for ice hockey and lacrosse.

Matt Roik is a professional lacrosse goaltender who has played in the National Lacrosse League. Roik most recently played for the Toronto Rock, and has also played for the Washington Stealth, San Jose Stealth, Chicago Shamrox, Philadelphia Wings, Anaheim Storm, and New Jersey Storm.

Vancouver Burrards Senior Lacrosse Club has been the name of several lacrosse teams in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Currently, the Club consists of three teams in Senior B, Senior C, and Intermediate B lacrosse; the Junior B team suspended operations for the 2007 season. There is no affiliation between the current Vancouver Burrards teams and the WLA Burrards now located in Maple Ridge.
The British Columbia Junior Tier 1 Lacrosse League, or BCJT1LL is a Junior B box lacrosse league based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada, sanctioned by the British Columbia Lacrosse Association. The league champion competes for the British Columbia Junior B Provincial Championship. Teams have competed for the Founders Cup, a national tournament which determines the Canadian Junior B lacrosse champion.

Harry George Woolley was a Canadian player, coach, referee, manager, scout and advocate for the game of lacrosse. He spent 46 years as a builder volunteering in a total of 72 appointments. His career extended to coaching, refereeing and managing lacrosse teams in Francophone & First Nations communities.
Dave Pym is a lacrosse coach, currently serving as the video coach and Western scout for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. Pym previously served as the head coach of the Calgary Roughnecks. He was hired by the Roughnecks after a successful junior coaching career with the Burnaby Lakers of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League, where his team won multiple Minto Cups. Despite great regular season success, Pym's teams had trouble winning in the playoffs, and as a result, Pym's contract was not renewed after a loss to the Edmonton Rush in the 2012 playoffs.
The Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse League, or PNWJLL is a Junior B Tier 2 box lacrosse league based in British Columbia, Canada, sanctioned by the British Columbia Lacrosse Association. The league champion and runner up both compete for the British Columbia Junior B2 Provincial Championship.
