Charlotte Covell (born circa 1984) [1] is a British writer and actor, best known for their adaptation of the graphic comic series The End of the F***ing World for Channel 4.
Covell was born in Blackheath, [2] and studied English at Oxford University. [2] [3]
As an actress, her screen debut was in 2003 in the television series Fortysomething alongside Hugh Laurie, Anna Chancellor, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Covell has appeared in Midsomer Murders (2008), [4] Law & Order: UK (2009), [4] The Inbetweeners (2010) as Sophie, [4] Whitechapel (2011), Peep Show (2012). [4]
As a writer, in 2015, Covell wrote and starred in Banana , [4] and a screenwriter for Burn Burn Burn (2015), [4] and then co-writer with Iain Weatherby of the Channel 4 series The End of the F***ing World . [5]
In 2015, Covell was named as a Screen International Star of Tomorrow. [2]

The End of the F***ing World is a British black comedy-drama television programme. The eight-part first series premiered its first episode on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2017, after which the following episodes were released on All 4.
