The company was established in 1992 by Robinson Shiba. In 2021, the TrendFooods got shelled to Grupo Trigo. [1]

Currently, the chain has over 145 restaurants located throughout Brazil. [1] [2] [3]

China in Box's history begins in 1986 with the trip of friends in United States.
