Chinese American Service League

The Chinese American Service League(CASL) is a non-profit social services agency based in Chicago, Illinois. It helps to provide social services in the area including English language classes, job training, and child care for Chinese American immigrants. [1] CASL was originally founded by Ms. Bernie Wong in 1982. In 1998 CASL sponsored and opened the Senior Housing Facility, and in 2007 the non-profit was able to subsequently build a new headquarters in Chinatown, Chicago [2]

This population includes native-born Chinese as well as immigrants from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, and also racially mixed Chinese.
