Chris Allen (born May 8, 1978) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played two games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Florida Panthers.
While playing for the Kingston Frontenacs, Allen scored the first ever goal at the CHL Top Prospects Game in 1996. Playing for Team Cherry and held that year at Maple Leaf Gardens, the goal was assisted by the Drummondville Voltigeurs' Daniel Brière.[ citation needed ] Allen was drafted in the third round, 60th overall, by the Florida Panthers in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft and played two games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the team. An injury sidetracked his career and he never again reached the NHL level. Allen has had his shot recorded at 103 miles per hour and picked up the OHL Defenceman Of The Year award in 1997–98. Chris is also tied for second all time in OHL goals for a defenceman with Bobby Orr and Al McInnis with 38 in 66 games as a member of the Kingston Frontenacs.
Allen has played 13 years professional, taking him all over the world. He has previously played in the NHL, the American Hockey League, ECHL, Europe (Finland, Norway, Denmark, Austria and Hungary, UK, Italy), and Asia (Korea, Japan, China). [1]
Allen was voted in the top 16 of Peta's 2008 Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door Contest, [2] and was eventually named the winner. [3]

Bryan Nigel Allen is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) between 2001 and 2014.
James E. Allison is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played for the Calgary Flames. Chicago Blackhawks, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.
Christopher Allan Gratton is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who last played with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the cousin of Josh Gratton, who had also briefly played in the NHL as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Phoenix Coyotes.
Anthony Stewart is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, having played in the NHL, AHL, and KHL. He was born in Quebec, and his family moved to Toronto while he was a child. Stewart played minor hockey in Toronto, winning three all-Ontario championships. After his minor hockey career, he was selected by the Kingston Frontenacs in the first round of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) draft. After two seasons with Kingston, he was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, at 25th overall. He spent four years in the Panthers' system, dividing his time between the NHL and the American Hockey League (AHL), after which he joined the Atlanta Thrashers for two years. When the Thrashers moved to Winnipeg to become the new Winnipeg Jets, they did not offer him a new contract, and he signed with the Carolina Hurricanes as a free agent. After one season in Carolina he was traded to the Kings, but spent most of the season in the minor leagues. He signed a professional tryout contract with the San Jose Sharks to begin the 2013–14 NHL season, but was not offered a contract. He subsequently signed with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the KHL. His younger brother Chris also played in the NHL, and retired after the 2019–2020 season playing for Philadelphia Flyers.

Aaron Ekblad is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Ekblad was selected first overall in the 2011 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) entry draft, and he was selected first overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut that year. In his first NHL season, Ekblad was selected for the 2015 NHL All-Star Game and earned the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's best rookie in the 2014–15 season.

He was taken first overall in the 2008 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection by the Sudbury Wolves.
