Christian Daniel (born March 20, 1984) is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and actor.
Daniel was born in 1984 in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, [1] to a Puerto Rican mother and a Puerto Rican father. [2]
Daniel is a singer-songwriter. [3] At the age of 17, Daniel recorded his first demo with vocal coach Socky Torres. He sent demos to several recording companies until Emilio Estefan invited him to Miami to record his début album, Christian Daniel (2007). [4] He was the first artist signed to the record label Bad Boy Latino. Several of his songs have charted on various Billboard charts. [3] [5] [6] As of 2015, he has released three studio albums. [7] In addition to music, Daniel has also acted in Telemundo telenovelas including El fantasma de Elena and Santa Diabla . [2]
Daniel moved from Puerto Rico to Miami circa 2007. [2]
Daniel was a finalist in the 2016 Latin Billboard Music Awards for Solo Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year and Latin Pop Song of the Year for his song "Ahora Que Te Vas." [8] In 2017, he was nominated for the category Best Latin Artist by IHeartRadio Music Awards. [9]

"Que Lloren" (English: Let Them Cry) is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from her sixth studio album, Sentimiento (2007). It was composed by Queen, produced by Monserrate & DJ Urba, and released as the lead single off the album in January 2007. Lyrically, the song degrades the stereotype that men shouldn't cry and they are weak if they show emotions. The song gained positive to mixed reviews from critics, reaching the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot Latin Songs, Latin Rhythm Airplay, and Latin Tropical Airplay charts. A remix version with Tito "El Bambino", Naldo and Arcángel was also recorded and featured on the platinum edition of the album, after Sentimiento was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on May 10, 2007, two months after the standard edition was released. Ivy Queen performed the song at Latin Grammy Awards of 2007. It was included on the set of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The song's accompanying music video was filmed in Downtown Miami, Florida. It was directed by Marlon Peña.

It was originally scheduled to be released during early 2017 under its original title King Daddy II: Elemento DY, a sequel to his previous album King Daddy, produced by Los de la Nazza, a production duo that worked with Daddy Yankee from 2007 to 2014. Described by him as "the album's flagship", the song was released on March 24, 2022, simultaneously with the record and alongside a music video directed by Dominican filmmaker Marlon Peña, which depics a newlywed couple joining a street party in Puerto Rico. It uses the chorus from the track "Báilame" (2006) by Puerto Rican duo Trébol Clan.
