Arlington Heights is a village in Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. A northwestern suburb of Chicago, it lies about 25 miles (40 km) northwest of the city's downtown. As of the 2020 census, the village's population was 77,676, making it the 15th-most-populous municipality in Illinois.
Trinity International University (TIU) is an evangelical Christian university headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois. It comprises Trinity College, Trinity Graduate School, a theological seminary, a law school, and a camp called Timber-lee. the university also maintains campuses in North Lauderdale, Florida & Miami, Florida; the camp is located in East Troy, Wisconsin. TIU is the only university affiliated with Evangelical Free Church of America in the United States and enrolls about 2,700 students. On February 17, 2023 TIU announced it was moving the undergraduate program to online modalities only and will close the residential campus at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.
John Hersey High School is a four-year public high school located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago in the United States. It enrolls students from Arlington Heights as well as parts of Prospect Heights and Mount Prospect. The attendance zone also includes small portions of Des Plaines and Glenview which lack residents. Named after American writer John Hersey, it is part of Township High School District 214 which also includes Buffalo Grove High School, Elk Grove High School, Prospect High School, Rolling Meadows High School, and Wheeling High School.
Arlington High School was a public high school located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, which operated from 1922 to 1984. It was the oldest school in Township High School District 214 which served students in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows and Wheeling, Illinois. The school occupied a site that is approximately 1.3 km due east of Arlington Racetrack.

Jackson Academy is a private school in Jackson, Mississippi founded by Loyal M. Bearrs in 1959. Bearrs claimed he established the school to teach using an accelerated phonics program he developed, but the school remained completely racially segregated until 1986, even forgoing tax exemption in 1970 to avoid having to accept Black students.

Its main campus, the Arlington Campus, has a building at 2201 West Park Row Drive in Arlington and a 57,000-square-foot (5,300 m2) high school building at 2221 West Park Row Drive in Pantego. The Arlington Campus has 670 students in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The system also operates the Mansfield Campus at 2351 Country Club Drive in Mansfield which teaches 143 students from age 3 through grade 5. The Mansfield campus closed its doors in 2020 and now all students attend the Arlington campus.
