Laleh Pourkarim, known mononymously as Laleh, is an Iranian-Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, guitarist, pianist, actress and record company manager. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album, which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become that country's the highest selling album of the year.

The white tiger on the cover is a tribute to the band's hometown Eskilstuna: the zoo in town had white tigers as its main attraction.

Satan i gatan is the third studio album released by Swedish singer and songwriter Veronica Maggio. It was released in Sweden on 27 April 2011 through Universal Music AB and debuted at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart. The title is a Swedish expression which generally means "damn". The album follows on from her 2006 debut Vatten & bröd and her 2008 follow-up Och vinnaren är.... The album was recorded and produced by Maggio in the studio of Christian Walz in Östermalm, Stockholm. Maggio wrote all the lyrics, a process that took almost a year, whereas all music was written by Christian Walz, except for "Vi kommer alltid ha Paris" the music of which was composed by Markus Krunegård.

Sjung is the fourth studio album by the Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, released on 25 January 2012. Produced by Laleh herself, the album was released on Warner Music Sweden and Lost Army. Sjung is her first long play for four years since the January 2009 album Me and Simon. The album is produced, written, recorded, engineered and performed by Laleh. The release follows her appearance on popular Swedish television show "Så mycket bättre" towards the end of 2011.

"Some Die Young" is a song by Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, taken as the lead single from her fourth studio album, Sjung. It was released in Scandinavia on 22 January 2012 through Warner Music Sweden, and in Germany on 30 August 2013 through Universal Music Germany. The pop song was written and produced by Laleh, and comes after her appearance on Swedish reality television show Så mycket bättre. Lyrically, the song discusses the loss of a loved one but also the need not to give up following this and holding out hope that things will eventually get better. Musically, the backdrop of the song contains swooping melodies and an upbeat tempo. The song has been credited as an unofficial soundtrack for those who lost people in the 2011 Norwegian attacks, with newspaper articles, university lectures and a number of fan videos to this effect emerging.

True is the debut studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Avicii, released on 13 September 2013 by PRMD Music and Island Records. Avicii said that sonically, the album would move away from his earlier house music sound on previous records by incorporating elements of other genres such as country music. Hov1 are a Swedish hip hop group formed in 2015 signed to EMI Sweden / Universal Music Sweden. The group has released four studio albums; Hov1, Gudarna på Västerbron, Vindar på Mars, Barn av vår tid, and one mixtape Montague. They all charted atop the Swedish Albums Chart. Victor Leksell is a Swedish singer from Torslanda. Since his first releases in 2018, his most successful single was released in 2020, called "Svag". The song peaked at number one on the Swedish Singles Chart and it was also certified nonuple platinum in the country. On 17 June 2020, Leksell released his debut studio album, Fånga mig när jag faller. It peaked at number 1 in Sweden and made it to number 3 in Norway.

Carl Erik Friman, better known by his stage name Fricky, is a Swedish rapper and musician. In 2018, he released his debut EP Aqua Aura, which peaked at number five on the Swedish Albums Chart. The EP contained songs like "Aqua Aura" and "Hon Få Mig", with the first being certified platinum in Sweden. "Hon få mig" was released as a remix, that featured Ozzy, Leslie Tay and Blizzy. It was subsequently certified platinum in Sweden as well.

Hov1 is the self-titled debut studio album by Swedish hip-hop group Hov1. It was released on 28 April 2017 through Universal Music. The album proved successful in Sweden, peaking at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart. As of 1 May 2020, the album has charted for a total of 153 weeks in the country. The album was produced by Axel Liljefors Jansson, Björn Hallberg and Martin Tjärnberg. All songs were written by Hov1. Hov1 charted at the Album year-end chart in Sweden in 2017, 2018 and 2019, charting at position 3, 5 and 26, respectively. It has also been certified 2x platinum in the country.

"Bara få va mig själv" is a song by Swedish singer-songwriter Laleh, taken as the first single from her sixth studio album, Kristaller. It was written by Laleh, Gustaf Thörn, Gino Yonan, and Frank Nobel while being produced by Laleh. It was released on 6 April 2016 through Warner Music Sweden.
