Camden is a city in and the county seat of Camden County, New Jersey. Camden is part of the Delaware Valley metropolitan area and is located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the 2020 U.S. census, the city had a population of 71,791 and was ranked as the 14th most populous municipality in New Jersey, after being ranked 12th in 2020. The city was incorporated on February 13, 1828. Camden has been the county seat of Camden County since the county was formed on March 13, 1844. The city derives its name from Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden. Camden is made up of over 20 neighborhoods.
Wilmington is the largest city in the U.S. state of Delaware. The city was built on the site of Fort Christina, the first Swedish settlement in North America. It lies at the confluence of the Christina River and Brandywine Creek, near where the Christina flows into the Delaware River. Renaissance Plaza is a proposed residential and retail complex to be built on a 5.5-acre (2.2 ha) site in the Delaware Riverfront region of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The previous World Trade Square complex design was to be developed by Carl Marks Real Estate Group and called for four high-rise office buildings: Old City Harbor Tower I, Old City Harbor Tower II, Old City Harbor Tower III, and the Greater Philadelphia World Trade Center. The tallest buildings would have been the Old City Harbor Towers II and III, which were planned as twin office skyscrapers that each rise 636 feet, with 37 floors. Old City Harbor Tower I was being planned as a residential tower, rising 435 ft, with 42 floors. The Greater Philadelphia World Trade Center would have been the shortest of all four buildings, rising 324 ft, with 17 floors.

The neighborhood is situated near the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and Rutgers University–Camden. It is served by the Cooper Street – Rutgers University River LINE station. The neighborhood is home to the Cooper-Grant Historic District which includes 93 buildings spread over 250 acres. Cooper-Grant is considered one of the city's contemporary residential success stories. It has a relatively low-crime rate and many residents are college-educated professionals and students.

South Jersey Port Corporation (SJPC) is an independent public port authority which operates the ports along the eastern banks of Delaware River in the Delaware Valley region of southern New Jersey in the United States. Based in Camden, SJPC was founded in 1928 and changed its name in 1968. It maintains facilities at the Port of Camden, the Port of Paulsboro, and the Port of Salem.
