Bonnier Amigo Music Group

Cosmos Music, formerly Bonnier Amigo Music Group (BAMG), is an independent record company based in Stockholm, Sweden. It was formed in 2001, when record company and distributor Amigo Musik merged with the record company Bonnier Music. BAMG claimed to be the biggest independent record company in Scandinavia at the time.

BAMG signed acts including Helena Paparizou, Sunrise Avenue, Madcon, Amy Diamond and Sofia Karlsson. BAMG was also the Scandinavian representative of some of the most influential independent record companies in Europe, including ACT, Dramatico, Cooking Vinyl, Cooperative Music, Epitaph, Roadrunner Records and MNW.

In late 2009, Carl Fredik Ekander, Cai Leitner, Kent Isaacs and Christian Drougge bought Bonnier Amigo from Bonnier Group and subsequently renamed the company Cosmos Music. [1]

Cristian Amigo is an American composer, improviser, guitarist, sound designer, and ethnomusicologist. His compositional and performing output includes blues and soul, music for the theater, chamber and orchestral music, opera, avant-jazz and rock music, and art/pop song. He has also recorded solo albums on the innova, Deep Ecology and BA labels. Amigo earned a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from UCLA where he focused on the music of Chile, Peru, and Argentina, as well as anthropological theory, critical studies, and intercultural aesthetics. While in graduate school, he was second guitarist to the Peruvian Afro-Criollo guitarist Carlos Hayre, with whom he played in concerts and festivals including the World Festival of Sacred Music. Florence Valentin was a Swedish pop-rock band from Stockholm. The band existed between 2002 and 2010. Both the lyrics and music to the band's tracks was made by the band's lead singer Love Antell. The band was founded in 2002 and got its breakthrough the year afterwards with the song "Allt dom bygger upp ska vi meja ner". For the general public Florence Valentin became known when the band performed the song at the late night talkshow Sen kväll med Luuk on TV4. Their first album "Johnny Drama" was released in 2004 by MNW's label Mistlur Records and distributed by Bonnier Amigo. The band second album Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård was released in June 2007 by the record label Bonnier Amigo again. Florence Valentin performed at Allsång på Skansen which was broadcast on SVT with the song with the same name as their second album "Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård". On 25 March 2009 the band's third album Spring Ricco was released by the record label Startracks. They disbanded in 2010. but reunited announcing a national tour and released the single "Sanningen om mej".

Bonny Light Horseman is an American folk band consisting of Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman. They released their debut eponymous album in January 2020. Their second album, Rolling Golden Holy, came out in October 2022.
