Dennis Havrilla (born August 24, 1987) is a former American football quarterback. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Adrenaline of the Indoor Football League (IFL) in 2011. He played college football at Western New Mexico University.

Professional career

Havrilla spent multiple years in the Indoor Football League (IFL), catching on with several teams while playing quarterback, safety and placekicker. In 2014, he began the season with the Dodge City Law before signing with the Arena Football League's Spokane Shock. [1] After three weeks on the Shock's practice squad, Havrilla returned to the Law. Not long after his return to the Law, he was assigned to the San Jose SaberCats, where he appeared as a backup to Nathan Stanley. [2] He was reassigned by the SaberCats on July 10, 2014.

Las Vegas Outlaws

On June 19, 2015, Havrilla was assigned to the Las Vegas Outlaws. He was the backup to J. J. Raterink, but when Raterink was pulled due to his ineffective play, Havrilla was thrust into the game. [3] The following week against the Portland Thunder, Havrilla was named the starting quarterback. He led the Outlaws to a 48-46 victory, where he scored the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard rush. [4] On August 3, 2015, Havrilla was placed on reassignment, one week before the season ended.

Cleveland Gladiators

On February 5, 2016, Havrilla was assigned to the Cleveland Gladiators. After Chris Dieker was injured in Week 1 of the 2016 season, Havrilla became the starting quarterback. However, he also later suffered an injury and Arvell Nelson replaced him as the starter. [5]

High Country Grizzlies

On June 1, 2017, Havrilla signed with the High Country Grizzlies. He played in one game for the Grizzlies, completing 16 of 37 passes for 282 yards, 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. [6]

He was named Offensive Player of the Game for his performance. In June 2009, Dutton was signed by the RiverCity Rage of the Indoor Football League (IFL). On February 12, 2010, it was announced that Dutton had been signed by the Cleveland Gladiators.

The Spokane Shock were a professional indoor American football team based in Spokane, Washington, that played their home games at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. The team was initially a member of arenafootball2 (af2), the Shock won division titles in all four seasons and ArenaCups in 2006 and 2009 before they joined the Arena Football League (AFL) in its 2010 relaunch. The team advanced to the playoffs three times after joining the AFL, winning ArenaBowl XXIII in their first season, making them the only arena football franchise to win both the ArenaCup and the ArenaBowl.

Mark Richard Grieb is a former Arena football quarterback who spent the majority of his career with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League (AFL). Grieb currently serves as the head coach of the Sacred Heart Prep Gators football team in Atherton, California. He was a 13-year veteran of the AFL, having played quarterback for the Anaheim Piranhas (1997) and San Jose SaberCats. Grieb also played in NFL Europe for the Scottish Claymores (1998) and in the XFL with the Las Vegas Outlaws (2001). Grieb is the second quarterback in AFL history to throw for over 47,000 yards, over 900 touchdowns, over 3,800 completions, and over 10,000 pass attempts. He officially retired on November 8, 2012. He played college football at University of California, Davis. Grieb passed for 48,080 yards between the Arena League, XFL and NFL Europe.

Shane Austin is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at University of Hawaiʻi. Austin went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft and signed with the Everett Raptors of the Indoor Football League (IFL) after the draft. After starting the Raptors final games of the season, Austin was able to gain the attention of the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League (AFL). Austin was named the starting quarterback for the Power, but a broken hand caused him to miss two months of the season. Austin then was assigned to the Cleveland Gladiators where he was named the backup to Chris Dieker. With Dieker struggling for the Gladiators, Austin was given the opportunity to start and lead the Gladiators to a 14–1 record as a starter and a berth in ArenaBowl XXVII. The 2015 Las Vegas Outlaws season was the first and only season for the expansion franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Aaron Garcia and played their home games at Thomas & Mack Center. The Outlaws finished their inaugural season 5–12–1, with the tie being a cancelled home game against the VooDoo. Though they qualified for the playoffs, the league announced on August 9 that the Outlaws would cease operations effective immediately, and would therefore not participate in the playoffs.

Robert Bees is a former American football quarterback who played two seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Oklahoma Wranglers, San Jose SaberCats and Buffalo Destroyers.
