Donald Lee Hall (born March 8, 1969) is an American animation film director, voice actor and screenwriter who is best known for directing the films Winnie the Pooh (2011), Big Hero 6 (2014), [1] Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) and Strange World (2022), [2] and co-directing the film Moana (2016) for Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day is a 1968 American animated featurette based on the third, fifth, ninth, and tenth chapters of Winnie-the-Pooh and the second, eighth, and ninth chapters from The House at Pooh Corner by A. A. Milne. The featurette was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by Buena Vista Distribution Company on December 20, 1968, being shown in theaters with The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit. This was the second of the studio's Winnie the Pooh theatrical featurettes. It was later added as a segment to the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The music was written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. It was notable for being the last Disney animated short to be produced by Walt Disney, who died of lung cancer on December 15, 1966, two years before its release.

He served as the lead animator for Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine in Aladdin, Young Simba in The Lion King, the title character in Mulan and Tiana in The Princess and the Frog. <i>Us Again</i> (film) 2021 American animated short film

Us Again is a 2021 American animated short film directed and written by Zach Parrish and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It follows Art, a grumpy old man, and Dot, his energetic wife, in a vibrant city of dance. The two enjoy themselves in a rainstorm that makes them young until it disappears and reverts them back to old age. Parrish conceived Us Again after noticing that he was growing older and took inspiration from his grandparents. Its score, composed by Pinar Toprak, was written before storyboarding and animation, unlike the typical filmmaking process. For dance reference, Disney hired choreographers Keone and Mari Madrid. Us Again was released on March 5, 2021, preceding theatrical showings of Raya and the Last Dragon. The short has received positive reviews from critics.

The film stars the voices of Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union, and Lucy Liu. Strange World follows a legendary family of explorers called the Clades, who must set aside their differences as they embark on a journey to a mysterious subterranean land inhabited by surreal lifeforms, in order to save a miracle plant Pando that is their society's source of energy.

Wonderful World of Animation is a nighttime show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The show is a celebration of all Disney animation, beginning with Mickey Mouse. It premiered on May 1, 2019, as part of the park's 30th anniversary celebration, replacing Disney Movie Magic.

Wondrous Journeys was a projection mapping and fireworks show at Disneyland that debuted on January 27, 2023. It premiered alongside World of Color: One as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration to commemorate the centennial of The Walt Disney Company. The show contains a large assortment of songs and characters from the entirety of the Walt Disney Animation Studios feature film canon.
