Donna Veach

Donna Veach is an American politician currently serving as a state representative from the 30th district in the Connecticut House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, Veach was elected to the 30th district seat in 2020 after defeating Democratic challenger JoAnn Angelico-Stetson. [1] Prior, Veach defeated challenger Jim Townsley for the Republican nomination for the seat. [2] Veach also serves as a councilwoman on the Berlin town council. [3] Veach currently serves as a member of the House Judiciary and Education Committee as well as the Planning and Development Committee. [4]

Donna Bailey is an American politician and attorney from Maine. A Democrat, she serves in the Maine Senate representing District 31, which includes her residence in Saco, as well as the towns of Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, Limington and part of Buxton. Bailey grew up in Berlin, New Hampshire, and attended Berlin High School, Bates College and the University of Maine School of Law. She worked in real estate law, family law and probate law in private practice and was first elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2016. In 2020, Bailey was elected to her first term in the Maine Senate.

Thomas ran again in 2020, defeating Republican challenger Patricia Zuccaro. Brandon Chafee is an American politician currently serving as a state representative in the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 33rd District since 2021. Prior to running for the seat, Chafee served as the treasurer of the Middletown Democratic Party. On November 3, 2020, Chafee won the election for the 33rd District seat after defeating Republican challenger Lynda Szynkowicz. In the House, Chafee serves as a member of the Transportation and Environment Committees as well as the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.

Jamie Foster is an American politician and research scientist. Foster currently serves as a representative from the 57th District in the Connecticut House of Representatives. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Initially, Taylor Biniarz was intended to be the Democratic nominee for the seat. But after Biniarz stepped down in order to focus on activism work, Democrats nominated Foster instead. In the general election on November 3, 2020, Foster defeated Republican challenger David Stevens. Since beginning her term in 2021, she has been assigned to the Public Health Committee, the Children Committee, and the Energy and Technology Committee.

Christine Goupil is an American politician who served as a Connecticut State Representative in the 35th District of the Connecticut House of Representatives, which encompasses the towns of Clinton, Killingworth and parts of Westbrook. Goupil was first elected to the seat in 2020 after defeating Republican challenger John Hall III. She began her term on January 6, 2021, and served as a member of the House Transportation and Human Services Committees and the Vice Chair of the Planning and Development Committee. Christine ran for reelection in 2022 but ultimately lost to Republican challenger Chris Aniskovich She ended her term January 4, 2023.

Rick Hayes is an American politician currently serving as a Connecticut State Representative from the 51st District, which encompasses the towns of Putnam, Thompson, and parts of Killingly. A member of the Republican Party, Hayes first ran for the seat in 2018 in an election where he would win over Democratic candidate Larry Groh Jr. Hayes was re-elected in 2020, once again defeating Groh. Hayes currently serves as a member of the House General Law Committee, the Environment Committee, and the Public Safety and Security Committee. He is also a member of the Putnam Board of Selectman, serving in that position since 2017.

Tom Arnone is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. Arnone is a Democrat who represents district 58, which is included in the town of Enfield, CT. Arnone was first elected to this seat in 2018, winning by an 8-point margin over Republican Greg Stokes. Arnone was re-elected by a 12 point margin in 2020 over Enfield Republican Town Chairwoman Mary Ann Turner. Arnone was elected for a third-time in this seat, winning by an 8-point margin over Republican Bob Hendrickson in 2022. For the 2023 Legislative Session, he serves on the Committee on Children, the Executive & Legislative Nominations Committee, and the Regulations Review Committee. Additionally, Representative Arnone was appointed as Assistant Majority Whip.

Chris Ziogas is an American Democratic Party politician served as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 79th district, which includes part of Bristol, from 2017 to 2022. Ziogas was first elected to the seat in 2016, defeating Republican challenger Peter Del Mastro by an 8-point margin. In 2018 and 2020, Ziogas defeated runs by Republican David Rackliffe, winning with 54 and 53% of the vote respectively. Ziogas served on the House Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee, Baking Committee, and the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee.

Kevin Ryan is an American Democratic Party politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 139th district, which includes the town of Bozrah as well as parts of Montville and Norwich since 1993. Ryan was first elected in 1992 and has been re-elected every year since, making him the second longest-serving state lawmaker. Ryan was most recently elected in 2020 after defeating Republican Caleb Espinosa by nearly 1000 votes. Ryan currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee, Public Health Committee, and Environment Committee.

Connecticut's 30th House of Representatives district elects one member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. It encompasses parts of Berlin and Southington. It has been represented by Republican Donna Veach since 2021.

Will Metcalf is a member of the Texas House of Representatives, 16th District, which encompasses Montgomery County, Texas, approximately 55 miles north of Houston. As of 2021–2022, he is Chairman of the House Administration Committee which oversees all operations of the House, including its rules, policies and procedures, as well as its members, officers, and employees. He also serves on the committees for International Relations & Economic Development, and House State Affairs.
