Donte Lamar Nicholson (born December 18, 1981) is a former American football safety who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. [1] He played college football at Oklahoma. [2]
He appeared in nine games for the Buccaneers in the 2005 season and made five tackles. [2] He was re-signed on November 27, 2006.[ citation needed ] On September 1, 2007, the Buccaneers released him.[ citation needed ] On September 29, 2007, the Buccaneers re-signed him.[ citation needed ] In the 2009 offseason, the Buccaneers released him.[ citation needed ]
Vincent Terrell Jackson was an American professional football wide receiver who played for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Northern Colorado Bears, and was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and exceeded 1,000 receiving yards six times in his career. Jackson died in 2021, with the official cause of his death reported as chronic alcohol abuse. An autopsy found Stage 2 chronic traumatic encephalopathy in his brain.
Vincent Frank Testaverde Sr. is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 21 seasons. He played college football at the University of Miami, where he earned consensus All-American and won the Heisman Trophy in 1986.
Jon David Gruden is an American professional football coach who is an advisor for the Milano Seamen of the European League of Football. He held his first head coaching position with the Raiders franchise during their Oakland tenure from 1998 to 2001, where he won two consecutive division titles and made an AFC Championship Game appearance. Gruden was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002, which he led to their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVII the same season. At age 39, he was the then-youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl. He served as Tampa Bay's head coach through 2008, setting the franchise record for wins, but made only two further playoff runs. After his firing from the Buccaneers, Gruden was featured as an analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcasts from the 2009 to the 2017 seasons.
