Echo Valley is an upcoming American thriller film directed by Michael Pearce, written by Brad Ingelsby, and starring Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan and Rebecca Creskoff.
Kate Garrett works training horses on her southern Pennsylvania farm as she copes with personal tragedy. One day, her daughter Claire arrives at her door in an alarming state. [2]
The film was announced in March 2023, with Brad Ingelsby writing and Michael Pearce directing. It was produced by Scott Free Productions and The Walsh Company, with Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Ingelsby, and Kevin J. Walsh as producers, with Sydney Sweeney, and Julianne Moore set to star in the film. [4] In April 2023 Domhnall Gleeson was also added to the cast. [5] In May 2024, Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw and Edmund Donovan were announced for the cast. [6]
Principal photography commenced in New Jersey in May 2023, under the title Wildvale, and concluded in late June. [7] [8] [9] Filming locations include Hunterdon County and Morris County. [7] [10]
Kyle Merritt MacLachlan is an American actor best known for his Emmy nominated and Golden Globe winning role as Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks and its film prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). He is also known for his roles in another two of Twin Peaks co-creator David Lynch's films: Paul Atreides in Dune (1984) and Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet (1986). MacLachlan's other film roles include Lloyd Gallagher in The Hidden (1987), Ray Manzarek in The Doors (1991), Cliff Vandercave in The Flintstones (1994), Zack Carey in Showgirls (1995) and Riley's father in the Inside Out film series.
