Edward Leon Budde was an American football guard. He played his entire career for the Kansas City Chiefs in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL).
Herman Edwards Jr. is an American football coach and former professional player who was most recently the head coach at Arizona State. He played cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles. Edwards was also a head coach in the NFL from 2001 to 2008 with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. Following the conclusion of his NFL coaching career, Edwards was a football analyst at ESPN from 2009 to 2017. He returned to coaching in 2018 when he was named the head coach of Arizona State.

Wilson played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi. Nicknamed "Thunderfoot", he was selected to three Pro Bowls. Wilson was elected to the Chiefs Hall of Fame in 1988. He was drafted in the 17th round of the 1963 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams and in the 11th round of the 1963 AFL Draft by the Chiefs. He is the only punter to be a leader in punting yards for a season in multiple leagues.

Chad Steven Henne is a former American football quarterback who played 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. While there, Henne became only the second freshman starting quarterback in Michigan history, accumulated a total of 32 wins in regular season play, 8,740 offensive yards, and 87 touchdowns, and in his senior season led the Wolverines to a Capital One Bowl victory over Florida. He was subsequently named as the game's most valuable player (MVP) after throwing for over 350 yards.

He played college football at Arizona State University, where he was also an NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion. He played football professionally in the AFL for the Kansas City Chiefs in 1968 and 1969, and in the NFL for the Chiefs, Houston Oilers, and Detroit Lions. He was an AFL All-Star in 1969 and a six-time AFC–NFC Pro Bowler.

Robert F. Waldrop is a former American college and professional gridiron football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at the University of Arizona, where he was a two-time consensus All-American for the Wildcats. Waldrop played professionally for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, and the Memphis Mad Dogs and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Curtis Kemp Bledsoe is a former professional American football player who played fullback, halfback, and running back. He played in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs in 1981 and 1982. He later played for the Arizona Wranglers, Washington Federals and Orlando Renegades of the USFL. Bledsoe played college football for the San Diego State Aztecs. Curtis is also an avid racquetball player and has played in a semi-professional capacity for many years under sponsorship by Wilson and others.

Ryan Barrow Succop is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He last played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Succop played college football at South Carolina and was the 2009 Mr. Irrelevant by virtue of being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the final pick of the 2009 NFL Draft. Succop was the Buccaneers starting placekicker in their 31–9 victory over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, becoming the first Mr. Irrelevant to play and win a Super Bowl as a starter and an active player.

Tyrann Devine Mathieu is an American football safety for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU. In college he developed a reputation for causing turnovers, setting a Southeastern Conference (SEC) record with 11 career forced fumbles and earning the nickname "the Honey Badger" after the mammal of the same name. In his sophomore season, he was recognized as a consensus All-American, won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in college football, and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Mathieu was dismissed from the LSU football program after that season due to a violation of team rules.

He played college football for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and was drafted by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his first two seasons with the Chiefs, he won Super Bowl LVII and Super Bowl LVIII, scoring a touchdown in the former.
