The 2019 UEFA Super Cup was the 44th edition of the UEFA Super Cup, an annual football match organised by UEFA and contested by the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The match featured two English sides, Liverpool, the winners of the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League, and Chelsea, the winners of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. The match was the first all-English UEFA Super Cup, and the eighth overall Super Cup to feature two teams from the same country. For the first time, the video assistant referee (VAR) system was used in the competition.
The bidding process of UEFA Euro 2024 ended on 27 September 2018 in Nyon, Switzerland, when Germany was announced to be the host. Two bids came before the deadline, 3 March 2017, which were Germany and Turkey as single bids.
The 2017 European Amputee Football Championship was the first edition of the annual international competition of amputee football national men's teams. It was organized by the European Amputee Football Federation (EAFF), and was held in Istanbul, Turkey between October 1–10, 2017. The championship's drawing ceremony took place in Riva, Beykoz, Istanbul on August 19 to determine the groups.
The 2021 European Amputee Football Championship is the second edition of the international competition of amputee football national men's teams. It was organized by the European Amputee Football Federation (EAFF), and is being held in Kraków, Poland between September 12–19, 2021.
