Sunk Loto were an Australian alternative metal band formed in Gold Coast, Queensland in 1997. The band's founding members were Dane Brown on drums, his brother Jason Brown on vocals, Luke McDonald on guitar and Sean Van Gennip on bass guitar. Sunk Loto signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia when the members average age was 16 years. They released two studio albums, Big Picture Lies and Between Birth and Death, both reached the ARIA Albums Chart top 50. The group disbanded in December 2007.
The McClymonts are an Australian country music trio comprising sisters Brooke McClymont, Samantha McClymont and Mollie McClymont, originally from Grafton, New South Wales. They have released one eponymous EP and six studio albums, Chaos and Bright Lights, Wrapped Up Good, Two Worlds Collide, Here's To You & I, Endless and Mayhem to Madness. They have won fifteen Golden Guitars and two ARIA Awards.
Violent Soho are an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland. The band consists of Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henery and Michael Richards. Their sound has been compared to that of 1980s and 1990s alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney and Nirvana. The band's third studio album, Hungry Ghost, was certified Gold in Australia in September 2014. Their fourth album, Waco, debuted at number 1 on the Australian iTunes and ARIA charts in 2016. The band's fifth album, Everything Is A-OK, was released on 3 April 2020.

DZ Deathrays are an Australian dance-punk trio from Brisbane, Queensland. Composed of Shane Parsons (vocals/guitar), Lachlan Ewbank and Simon Ridley (drums), they put out two EPs before releasing their debut album, Bloodstreams, in April 2012. Her debut album, Glorious Heights, was released on 5 August 2016, which peaked at No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2016 she won Breakthrough Artist – Release for the album and was nominated for three other categories. In April 2016 she was a featured vocalist on Hilltop Hoods' track, "1955", which reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. She was supposed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with her song "Don't Break Me", until the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 2 April 2020, it was announced that she would represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

Millar co-wrote the track with Sam Littlemore and the duo's Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2014 she won a trophy for Best Dance Release alongside the group. Mallrat has released three EPs: Uninvited (2016), In the Sky (2018) and Driving Music (2019).
