Bluemont is an unincorporated village in Loudoun County, Virginia located at the eastern base of Snickers Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The village's center is located along Snickersville Turnpike, 4 miles (6.4 km) west of the incorporated town of Round Hill. The village borders Virginia's fox hunting country and is within 1 mile (1.6 km) of the Appalachian Trail and the Bears Den and Raven Rocks formations in the Blue Ridge.

Long Meadow, also known as Long Meadows Farm, is a historic home located near Winchester, in Frederick County, Virginia. The earliest section was built about 1755, and is the 1+1⁄2-story limestone portion. A 1+1⁄2-story detached log unit was built shortly after, and connected to the original section by a covered breezeway. In 1827, a large two-story, stuccoed stone wing in a transitional Federal / Greek Revival style was built directly adjacent to log section. The house was restored in 1919, after a fire in the 1827 section in 1916. Also on the property are a contributing stone-lined ice house, an early frame smokehouse, and the ruins of a 1+1⁄2-story log cabin.
Mount Fair is a historic home and farm complex located in Albemarle County, Virginia. The main house was built about 1848, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay, frame building with Greek Revival style details. It has a hipped roof with widow's walk and a one-story, one-bay porch with a flat roof supported by Doric order columns. Also on the property are a contributing detached kitchen, a greenhouse, and two contributing structures, an icehouse and a spring house. The tract also has three contributing sites: the ruins of slave quarters, a slave cemetery, and a family cemetery.
Frederick County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse located at Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia. It was built in 1840, and is a two-story, rectangular, brick building on a stone foundation and partial basement in the Greek Revival style. It measures 50 feet by 90 feet, and features a pedimented Doric order portico and a gabled roof surmounted by a cupola. Also on the property is a contributing Confederate monument, dedicated in 1916, consisting of a bronze statue of a soldier on a stone base.
Crumley–Lynn–Lodge House is a historic home located near Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia. The earliest section was built about 1759, and was a 1+1⁄2-story, log section raised to a full two stories about 1850. About 1830, a two-story, Federal style brick section was added. A two-story frame section was added to the original log section in 1987–1994. The front facade features a folk Victorian-style front porch with square columns, sawn brackets and pendants, and plain handrail and balusters. Also on the property are the contributing mid-19th-century brick granary, and log meat house, as well as a late-19th century corn crib, and the stone foundation of a barn.
Rose Hill Farm is a historic home and farm located near Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia. It is a vernacular Federal style, 2+1⁄2-story brick and stucco structure built about 1819. The earliest section was built about 1797, and began as a three-room-plan, 1+1⁄2-story, log structure built upon a limestone foundation. About 1850, the house was enhanced with vernacular Greek Revival-style elements. Also on the property are a contributing summer kitchen, cistern, corn crib, and barn (c.1850–1860).

The house was built about 1820, and is a two-story, four-bay, Federal style dwelling with a gable roof. It has a 1+1⁄2-story wing dated to the mid-19th century. Also on the property are a contributing former two-story mill, a frame two-story tenant house, a storage shed, and the ruins of two small, unidentified buildings.
Contentment, also known as the Grattan House, is a historic home located near Mount Crawford, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built in 1823, and is a two-story, five-bay, brick Federal style dwelling. It has a pair of slightly projecting interior end chimneys placed at each end of the standing-seam metal gable roof with a brick parapet between each pair. During the American Civil War, on June 2–3, 1864, the house served as the headquarters of Confederate General John D. Imboden the Battle of Piedmont. It was also the site of one of the major skirmishes before the Confederate defeat at Cedar Creek, near Winchester. That skirmish was initiated by General Jubal Early and began at Contentment on October 4, 1864.

Douglas School, also known as the Douglas Community Learning Center, is a historic school for African-American students located at Winchester, Virginia. It is a central auditorium plan school built in 1927, with funds from the John Handley Endowment. It is a one-story, dark red brick building with a four columned, Classical Revival style entry. Additions to the building were made in 1940, 1951, and 1962. The school served as the only African-American school in the city until 1966, when it was closed after integration of the Winchester schools.
Winchester Coca-Cola Bottling Works is a historic Coca-Cola bottling plant located at Winchester, Virginia. It was built in 1940–1941, and is a two-story, reinforced concrete Art Deco style factory faced with brick. The asymmetrical four-bay façade features large plate-glass shop windows on the first floor that allowed the bottling operation to be viewed by the passing public. It has a one-story rear addition built in 1960, and a two-story warehouse added in 1974. Also on the property is a contributing one-story, brick storage building with a garage facility constructed in 1941. The facility closed in 2006.
Mount Hebron Cemetery and Gatehouse is a historic cemetery and gatehouse located at Winchester, Virginia. The cemetery was established in 1844 on two older churchyards, including that of Christ Episcopal Church in 1853. Many Civil War soldiers who died in Winchester's hospitals were interred in this cemetery, but after the war, the Union Burial Corps reinterred many Union dead into the Winchester National Cemetery established nearby, or to their home towns. The 1866 expansion included Stonewall Confederate Cemetery for 2,576 Confederate war dead. Iron fence added in 1891 and the Chateauesque style limestone gatehouse for superintendent added in 1902.
Daniel Morgan House, also known as the George Flowerdew Norton House, Boyd House, and Sherrard House, is a historic home located at Winchester, Virginia. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, seven-bay, 17 room, Late Georgian style brick dwelling. It has a side-gable roof and paired double interior chimneys. The oldest section was built about 1786 for George Flowerdew Norton, and the western stuccoed brick wing was built for Daniel Morgan (1736–1802) about 1800. A brick kitchen, built about 1820 is attached to the north side of the dwelling and two-story addition, constructed about 1885, is attached to the northwest corner of the house. A one-room addition was added to the eastern side about 1890, and a second-story room was built above the back porch about 1915. Also on the property is a contributing coursed stone retaining wall.
Hawthorne and Old Town Spring is a historic home and spring located at Winchester, Virginia, United States. Hawthorne was built about 1811, and is a two-story, five-bay, Late Georgian style stone dwelling with Federal style detailing. It has a hipped roof and rear service wing added about 1840. The Old Town Spring is a brick spring house built about 1816. Also on the property are contributing stone entry gateposts and walls and a stone garage built about 1915. The spring and the early-19th-century spring house that rests above it have been owned by the City for nearly 175 years.

The buildings represent a variety of popular architectural styles including Late Victorian and Italianate. They include residential, commercial, governmental, industrial, and institutional buildings dating from the 18th to mid-20th centuries. Notable buildings include the A.M.E Church (1878), Masonic Lodge and Gray and Eddy Building, First Presbyterian Church, Farmers and Merchants Bank (1902), Frederick County Courthouse (1840), Grace Lutheran Church, Friendship Fire Hall (1892), John Kerr School, City Hall (1900), Lewis Jones Knitting Mill (1895), Tidball Residence, William F. Hottle Residence, McGuire Residence, and Robert Long House. Located in the district are the separately listed Thomas J. Charlottesville Coca-Cola Bottling Works is a historic Coca-Cola bottling plant located at Charlottesville, Virginia. It was built in 1939, and is a two-story, reinforced concrete Art Deco style factory faced with brick. It has one-story wing and a detached one-story, 42-truck brick garage supported by steel posts and wood rafters. The design features stepped white cast stone pilaster caps, rising above the coping of the parapet, top the pilasters and corner piers and large industrial style windows. In 1955 a one-story attached brick addition was made on the east side of the garage providing a bottle and crate storage warehouse. In 1981 a one-story, "L"-shaped warehouse built of cinder blocks was added to the plant. The building was in use as a production facility until 1973 and then as a Coca-Cola distribution center until 2010.
