Florida State University is a public research university in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. It is a senior member of the State University System of Florida. Chartered in 1851, it is located on Florida's oldest continuous site of higher education.

They compete as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level, primarily competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for all sports since the 1991–92 season; within the Atlantic Division in any sports split into a divisional format since the 2005–06 season.
Thomas Kent Wetherell was an American politician and educator. He served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1980 to 1992, and was president of Florida State University from 2003 through 2009.
The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena located on the Florida State University campus in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. The arena has the biggest capacity of any arena in the Florida Panhandle. The arena opened in 1981 and was built at a cost of over $30 million, financed by the city. In 2013, the venue was purchased by the Florida State University Board of Trustees. The facility is located on the southeastern side of the university's campus, between the FSU College of Law and the future home of the FSU College of Business.
The Penn State Golf Courses are two 18-hole courses located in State College, Pennsylvania, operated by Pennsylvania State University. The individual 18-hole courses are named after the school colors, blue and white. They, along with their practice facilities, are the home of the men's and women's golf team and all intramural golf activities of the university. The practice facilities include a double-sided driving range with both natural grass and artificial teeing areas, and several putting greens located throughout the facility.
Hubert Myatt Green was an American professional golfer. Green won 19 PGA Tour events including two major championships: the 1977 U.S. Open and the 1985 PGA Championship. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2007.

The team is currently coached by Mike Norvell, and plays home games at Doak Campbell Stadium, the 15th largest stadium in college football, located on-campus in Tallahassee, Florida. The Seminoles previously competed as part of the ACC Atlantic Division.
The FSU Southwest Campus (SWC) of Florida State University (FSU) is located in Tallahassee about a mile to the southwest of the Main Campus on approximately 740 acres (3.0 km2) remaining out of a large parcel often called "The Farm", a nickname derived from a dairy farm that once operated on the site. Over the years portions of The Farm have been converted to other uses, such as housing, research, golf, mass media and academics.
The Seminole Legacy Golf Club is located in Tallahassee, Florida and is the home of the Florida State Seminoles men's golf and Florida State Seminoles women's golf teams. It was constructed in 1962 by the architect Bill Amick. Bob Walker renovated the course to a 7,147-yard (6,535 m) par 73 course. In 2020 the course opened after a 10 million dollar renovation designed by famed Nicklaus Design Company. Course was renovated into a 7,240 yard par 72 course.
The Daytona Beach Golf Course is a municipal golf course, located at 600 Wilder Blvd. in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. The facility is owned and operated by the City of Daytona Beach, and offers two courses, the North Course and the South Course.
The Bobby Tully Gymnasium is a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida that serves as the home for the Lady Seminoles volleyball team and offices of the student recreation department. A million-dollar donation in the late 1990s paid for a renovation that included lighting, armchair seating and gymnasium flooring. In November 2000 the facility was renamed to honor Lucy McDaniel.
The Hayt Golf Learning Center, also known as the "Golfplex" is the golf facility on the University of North Florida campus. It is a public course and the practice facility for the North Florida Ospreys golf team.
The 1949 Florida State Seminoles football team represented Florida State University as a member of the Dixie Conference during the 1949 college football season. Led by second-year head coach Don Veller, the Seminoles compiled an overall record of 9–1 with a mark of 4–0 in conference play, winning the Dixie Conference title for the second consecutive season. The Seminoles were invited to the program's first bowl game, the Cigar Bowl, where they defeated Wofford on January 2, 1950.

Led by third-year head coach Don Veller, the Seminoles compiled an overall record of 8–0 with a mark of 4–0 in conference play, winning the Dixie Conference title for the third consecutive season. It was the first undefeated season for the program. The second game of the season, a victory over Randolph–Macon, was the first played at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The 1951 Florida State Seminoles football team represented Florida State University as an independent in the 1951 college football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Don Veller, the Seminoles compiled a record of 6–2. On October 5, Florida state played the Miami Hurricanes, losing 35–13. The game was the first meeting between the two schools and the beginning of the longstanding rivalry.

The Boilermakers compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Big Ten Conference. They are currently led by head coach Rob Bradley. The Purdue Boilermakers men's golf program has won 12 Big Ten Conference championships and one NCAA national team championship in 1961. The first year of golf at Purdue was in 1921.
The Troy Trojans women's golf teams represent Troy University located in Troy, Alabama, and compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans play their home matches at the Troy Country Club, and use the recently built/renovated Trojan Oaks Golf Practice Facility for practicing.
