<span class="mw-page-title-main">Stade des Martyrs</span> Building in Africa

The Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte, or simply the Stade des Martyrs, is the national stadium of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), located in the Kinshasa commune of the capital Kinshasa. With a seating capacity of 80,000, it is the largest stadium in the DRC and the fourth-largest stadium in Africa. It serves as the home stadium for the Congolese football national team, AS Vita Club, and DCMP, making it the largest multifunctional venue in the country.

The African Men's Olympic Qualifiers were held to determine the African national teams for under 23 which participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics football tournament held in Beijing.

The Albania national under-19 football team represents Albania in international football at this age level in the UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup, as well as any other under-19 international football tournaments. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2013 COSAFA Cup</span> International football competition

The 2013 COSAFA Cup, sponsored by South African Breweries and officially named the 2013 COSAFA Castle Cup, was the 14th edition of the COSAFA Cup, an international football competition consisting of national teams of member nations of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA). It was hosted by Zambia in July 2013.

The 2014 Caribbean Cup qualification began in May 2014 and ended in October 2014. The qualification competition determined which national teams could play in the 2014 Caribbean Cup which in turn determined which teams participated in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2016 Copa América Centenario.

The qualification phase of the 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations decided the participating teams of the final tournament. A total of eight teams played in the final tournament, hosted by Gabon.

The 2016 COSAFA U-20 Cup will be the 23rd edition of the COSAFA U20 Cup, an international youth competition open to national associations of the COSAFA region.

The 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship was the 15th edition of the AFF U-19 Youth Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation. It was hosted by Myanmar during September 2017. Eleven out of the twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation took part in the tournament featuring two groups of five and six teams.

The Mopani Copper Mines COSAFA Under-20 Championship will be the 24th edition of the COSAFA U20 Cup, an international youth competition open to national associations of the COSAFA region.

The football tournament at the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie took place from 21 to 30 July in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The organization of the football competition has been considered to be a fiasco by some participating countries. The tournament was supposed to follow the FIFA tiebreaker rules. However, the organizing committee decided to change the rules in the midst of the competition in favour of Ivory Coast, thus eliminating Guinea from the group stage. Due to these changes, D.R. Congo also qualified for the semifinals instead of Quebec. Also in the semifinals, Mali delegation protested the referee's call of a frivolous penalty that won the game for the hosts Ivory Coast.

The 2018 African U-20 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament was the 9th edition of the African U-20 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament, the biennial international youth football competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine which women's under-20 national teams from Africa qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

The 2019 CECAFA Cup was the 40th edition of the annual CECAFA Cup, an international football competition consisting of the national teams of member nations of the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA). It took place in Uganda in December 2019.

The Denmark women's national football team has represented Denmark at the FIFA Women's World Cup on five occasions, in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2007 and 2023.

The 2022 African U-20 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament was the 11th edition of the African U-20 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament, the biennial international youth football competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine which women's under-20 national teams from Africa qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Players born on or after 1 January 2002 were eligible to compete in the tournament.
