Gallus are a Scottish villainous professional wrestling stable consisting of Wolfgang and real-life brothers Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey. They are currently signed to WWE and perform on the NXT brand.
On the first 5 December episode of NXT UK, the trio of Wolfgang and the Coffey brothers was officially dubbed Gallus (Scottish slang for daring or confident) during a segment calling out British Strong Style, as well as Travis Banks.[ citation needed ]
Gallus debuted during the 12 December 2018 episode of NXT UK, with members Mark Coffey and Wolfgang defeating Ashton Smith & Ligero in a tag match.[ citation needed ]
On the 4 October 2019 episode of NXT UK, Mark and Wolfgang defeated previous champions Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship, going on to hold it for 497 days. [1]
After going on a hiatus for a short time, during which Joe Coffey was suspended by WWE due to sexual harassment allegations. [2]
After Gallus made their return, Mark Coffey won the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship on the 23 June 2022 episode of NXT UK; but Wolfgang lost to Ilja Dragunov for the NXT UK Championship on 23 July 2022.[ citation needed ]
At NXT Heatwave, Gallus made their NXT debuts, attacking Diamond Mine. [3] On 23 August 2022, Gallus made their tag team debut on NXT facing NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, which they would go on to win via countout. At Worlds Collide, Gallus became the second team eliminated from the Fatal four-way tag team elimination match for the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championship. Gallus will go on to have a rivalry with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, with the latter winning a No Disqualification tag team match between the teams. Gallus then later was suspended in September for attacking officials.
At New Year’s Evil on 10 January 2023, Gallus returned from their suspension and won a gauntlet match to become the #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship, which they won on Vengeance Day the month after. On the 14 March episode of NXT, Gallus retained their titles against Pretty Deadly. At NXT Stand & Deliver, Gallus defeated the Creed Brothers and The Family to retain the tag titles with help from a returning Joe Coffey. [4] Gallus would defend against the Creeds and The Dyad in the next months including a triple-threat on the 14 April episode of NXT and against the Creeds at NXT Battleground. At NXT Gold Rush, Gallus defeated Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. At NXT: The Great American Bash, Gallus lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, ending their reign at 176 days. [5] In April 2024, ESPN reported that Gallus help trained The Rock for his tag team match with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins at Night 1 of WrestleMania XL. [6] On the May 14, 2024 episode of NXT, and as the show was going off the air, the cameras went backstage, showing Wes Lee, Josh Briggs and Ivar assaulted backstage. The attackers were then revealed to be Gallus, making their first televised appearance on NXT since the February 13, 2024 episode of NXT. [7]

Joseph Coffey is a Scottish professional wrestler now signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand as the leader of Gallus. Coffey wrestles for many promotions in the British independent wrestling circuit, including Insane Championship Wrestling where he is former 2 time ICW World Heavyweight Champion and a former ICW Zero-G Champion. Coffey has also earlier fought in Japan for Pro Wrestling ZERO1 where he became the first ever Scottish wrestler to perform in the Korakuen Hall. Coffey's younger brother Mark Coffey is also a professional wrestler and the pair often tag team together as "The Coffey Brothers".
Barry Young is a Scottish professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand, under the ring name Wolfgang. He is a member of Gallus and is a former NXT Tag Team champion with stable mate Mark Coffey, as well as being a former tag team champion in now defunct NXT UK brand alongside Mark Coffey.

The event aired exclusively on the WWE Network and took place on 31 August 2019, at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales.

NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II was the third and final NXT UK TakeOver professional wrestling livestreaming event, and second and final TakeOver: Blackpool event, produced by WWE. It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT UK brand division. The event aired exclusively on the WWE Network and took place on 12 January 2020 at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It was the only NXT UK TakeOver to be held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It would be the final NXT UK TakeOver event as although WWE resumed live touring in July 2021 and with COVID travel restrictions being loosened, no further NXT UK TakeOver events were scheduled.

He previously appeared for Evolve, where he was the final Evolve Champion.
Christian Brigham is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Carmelo Hayes. This was the first Heatwave event held by WWE, as it was previously produced by the former Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion, which WWE acquired in 2003, thus making this the eighth Heatwave overall and the first since 2000. It took place on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and was the first Worlds Collide to livestream on Peacock. This was the first Worlds Collide event since 2020 and also the final event for NXT UK, which was meant to relaunch as NXT Europe in 2023. This was also NXT's last major event in which the brand was referred to as "NXT 2.0", as nine days later, the "2.0" moniker was dropped.

The event took place on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California as part of WrestleMania Weekend, being held the same day as WrestleMania 39 Night 1 with a special start time of 1 p.m. Eastern Time 10 a.m. Pacific Time. WWE wrestlers Pretty Deadly served as the hosts of the event. This was also the first Stand & Deliver to livestream on Binge in Australia.
