Golden East Crossing is a shopping mall in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, United States. Opened in 1986, the mall features Belk, Books-A-Million, Conn's, Dunham's Sports, J. C. Penney, and Ross Dress for Less. It is managed by Hendon Properties.
The original anchor stores of Golden East Crossing were J. C. Penney, Roses, and Belk. Sears would also open its store in fall 1987. The mall was developed by Cadillac Fairview. [2]
Brody's, the successor to Roses, was sold to Proffitt's in 1998. [3] Best Buy was added in November 2004. [4] The same year, a movie theater operated by Cinema Grill closed. [5]
The mall was owned by General Growth Properties for nine years, then sold to Cadillac Fairview, and again to current owners Hendon Properties in 2005. [6] [7]
Proffitt's was closed in 2005. [7] Part of the store became Bed Bath & Beyond that year, [8] while the rest became Ross Dress for Less a year later. [9] Petco was added in 2008. [10] Best Buy [11] and Sears both closed in 2012. A year later, Dunham's Sports was confirmed to be opening in the vacated Sears. [12] Petco closed on January 24, 2015. [13] Bed Bath & Beyond closed at the mall in 2016, while the same year, Conn's opened in the spaces previously occupied by Petco and Best Buy. [14] Fallas opened in the former Bed Bath & Beyond on July 26, 2018, however it closed not long after. [15]

Adrian Mall was an enclosed shopping center serving Adrian, Michigan, United States. Military Circle Mall, known as The Gallery at Military Circle Mall from 2002 to 2015, is a soon to be demolished enclosed shopping mall in Norfolk, Virginia. The mall opened in 1970. In October 2016 the Virginia Beach City Council rejected plans for an oceanfront arena. This vote triggered discussions for the Military Circle area to include the construction of a 20,000 seat multi purpose arena. However, rising city debt and other priorities appear to negate any near-term plans for a new arena to the area. The anchor stores are Ross Dress for Less, Optima Health, and Movement Mortgage. There are 3 vacant anchor stores that were once Cinemark, Sears, and Macy's. The mall permanently closed to the public on January 31, 2023.
Panama City Mall was a single story enclosed shopping mall in Panama City, Florida. Opened in 1976, it featured J. C. Penney, Gayfers, and Sears as its anchor stores. It is owned and managed by Hendon Properties of Atlanta as of September 2013, purchased from CBL & Associates Properties. The mall closed due to Hurricane Michael and received major damages. It will not be reopening. However, a possible redevelopment of the site was proposed in July 2020 for a potential redevelopment for an open-air retail center with a hotel, residential apartments and office space much like Pier Park to the west in Panama City Beach
