Herschel Gluck OBE is a British rabbi, president of the Shomrim in Stamford Hill, [1] chairman of the Arab-Jewish Forum [2] and chairman and founder of the Muslim-Jewish Forum. [3] Established in 2000, the Muslim-Jewish Forum deals with issues of concern to both communities and also serves a role in preventing and defusing tensions. [4]

He has also been involved with the Next Century Foundation, through which he has played a role as a mediator in conflicts in places as diverse as the Sudan and Former Yugoslavia. [5]

Gluck was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to interfaith understanding. [6]

In 2015 Gluck was appointed as the new [7] President [8] of the Stamford Hill Shomrim, a Jewish volunteer Neighbourhood Patrol Group. [9]

The Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations is an umbrella organisation of Haredi Jewish communities in London, and has an estimated membership of over 6,000. It was founded in 1926, with the stated mission "to protect traditional Judaism", and has an affiliation of over a hundred synagogues and educational institutions. It caters for all aspects of Haredi Jewish life in London, and operates mainly in the suburbs of Stamford Hill, Golders Green, Hendon, and Edgware.

Shomrim or Shmira are organizations of proactive volunteer Jewish civilian patrols which have been set up in Haredi communities in neighborhoods across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to combat burglary, vandalism, mugging, assault, domestic violence, nuisance crimes and antisemitic attacks, and to help and support victims of crime. They also help locate missing people.

Avrohom Pinter, also known as Abraham Pinter, Avraham Pinter or Avram Pinter, was an English rabbi and a leading figure in the Haredi community in Stamford Hill, London. He was also a local government politician who served as a Labour councillor on the Hackney Borough Council. He represented Haredi interests on the London Jewish Forum. In 2014 he was ranked by The Jewish Chronicle as no. 32 on their list of influential British Jews. He was the principal of the Yesodey Hatorah Senior Girls' School, a role in which he received praise and criticism.

Jonathan Andrew Kestenbaum, Baron Kestenbaum is the chief operating officer of investment trust RIT Capital Partners plc, and a Labour member of the House of Lords. He is a great-grandson of Joseph Breuer, and a great-great-great-grandson of Samson Raphael Hirsch and of Eliezer Liepman Philip Prins. He is a former Chief Executive of the innovation foundation the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA). He was founding Chief Executive of the non-profit "action tank" The Portland Trust. Laura Naomi Janner-Klausner is a British rabbi and an inclusion and development coach who served as the inaugural Senior Rabbi to Reform Judaism from 2011 until 2020. Janner-Klausner grew up in London before studying theology at the University of Cambridge and moving to Israel in 1985, living in Jerusalem for 15 years. She returned to Britain in 1999 and was ordained at Leo Baeck College, serving as rabbi at Alyth Synagogue until 2011. She has been serving as Rabbi at Bromley Reform Synagogue in south-east London since April 2022.

Richard Malcolm Ellis Stone was a British medical doctor, social campaigner and philanthropist. Stone was best known for his association with the Runnymede Trust and the Jewish Council for Racial Equality on issues of race and politics, as well as race and society more generally in the United Kingdom. Stone was appointed to the panel of the Stephen Lawrence inquiry; a case involving a Black teenager who was murdered in London in 1993; which eventually led to the Macpherson Report, which defined the British Metropolitan Police's response to the incident as "institutionally racist." Stone was also noted for his association with the Jewish interfaith group The Woolf Institute.

Lilian Margery Bennett, was a British businesswoman, and the chairman and chief executive of Manpower UK from 1990 to 1998. According to The Times, she had an important role in the growth of the use of temporary staff in business.

Harris Bokhari is the founder and a trustee at the Patchwork Foundation, for which he won the Diversity Champion of the Year Award in early 2018. The Patchwork Foundation promotes the positive integration of disadvantaged and minority communities into British democracy and civil society."

Ahmereen Reza is a British Pakistani architect, social worker and political activist. Her academic and professional interests have centred on revitalisation of low income and ethnic minority rich neighbourhoods through a combination of enhanced community participation, imparting skills training to create employment opportunities, informing policy on low-income housing, and the empowerment of local women.
