Investor AB is a Swedish investment and holding company, often considered a de facto conglomerate. One of Sweden's largest companies, Investor AB serves as the investment arm of the prominent Swedish Wallenberg family; the family's companies are involved in a variety of industries, of which the primary industries are pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and industry. Investor AB is Sweden's most valuable publicly traded company; it has major or controlling holdings in several of Sweden's other largest companies. It has numerous investments worldwide through Patricia Industries and EQT AB. [3]

History

Investor AB was established in Stockholm when new Swedish legislation made it more difficult for banks to own stocks in industrial companies on a long-term basis. The shareholdings of the Wallenberg family bank, Stockholms Enskilda Bank, were transferred to Investor AB, a newly formed industrial holding company spun off from the bank, which would serve as the family's investment arm henceforth. Mr Green is an international online gambling company founded in 2007. Its product offering includes sports betting and online casino. In January 2019, Mr Green was acquired by William Hill for £242m. In July 2022, William Hill was subsequently acquired by Evoke plc for £2.2 billion.

Cevian Capital is a Swedish investment firm founded in 1996 by Christer Gardell and Lars Förberg, both of whom serve as managing partners. Backed by Carl Icahn, it is the largest activist investment firm in Europe. It has offices in Stockholm, Zürich, and London.

Terveystalo is a Finnish private healthcare company. Terveystalo provides healthcare, work healthcare and hospital care services for private persons, corporations, insurance companies and the public sector in about 100 localities with about 180 locations all over Finland.
