Iowa City Community School District (ICCSD) is the public school district that serves the Iowa City, Iowa area. Over 14,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade attend 21 elementary schools, three junior high schools, three comprehensive high schools, and one alternative school for ninth through twelfth graders. The district covers 130 square miles (340 km2) and serves the communities of Iowa City, Coralville, Hills, North Liberty, University Heights and the surrounding rural areas. The school district employs over 2,200 people. It is the fifth largest school district in the state of Iowa and the second largest employer in the Iowa City area.

Hempfield Area School District is a large school district in western Pennsylvania. It is the largest in Westmoreland County with a resident population of over 50,000 and covers approximately 95 square miles (250 km2) and lies 25 miles (40 km) southeast of Pittsburgh. The school district was formed in a merger of The School District of Hempfield Township, Adamsburg School District, Hunker School District, Manor School District and Youngwood School District on July 3, 1961. The school district population comes from Hempfield Township and the boroughs of Adamsburg, Hunker, Manor, New Stanton, and Youngwood. It completely surrounds the city of Greensburg. The community is a mix of Pittsburgh suburbia and rural areas.
The school system includes five elementary buildings, three middle schools, a high school, an alternative education school and an after-school alternative education program. The Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center serves Hempfield students in the high school. Hempfield Area School District is made up of approximately 6,600 students in grades K-12, is served by a professional staff of 445, and an administrative staff of 20.

The Brighton Area School District is a public school district in the metropolitan Detroit area. It serves the city of Brighton, townships of Green Oak, Genoa, Hamburg, Brighton in Livingston County and parts of Lyon Township in adjacent Oakland County. The district consists of seven schools. Hickory Hill Park is a large natural area in northeast Iowa City, Iowa consisting of 190 acres (0.77 km2) of forest, abandoned fields, reconstructed prairie, wetlands, and parkland centered on Ralston Creek and its tributary drainages. It is owned and administered by the city, with help from Friends of Hickory Hill Park. The park is popular with day hikers, dog walkers, cross-country skiers, sledders, and picnickers. Iowa City’s Hickory Hill Park should not be confused with Hickory Hills Park near Waterloo, or Hickory Hills Park in Tama County.

New Horizon Montessori School is a Montessori school, grades preschool through 5, located in Louisville, Tennessee. It is also a training center for Montessori Educators International, Inc.

Bellevue is a primarily African-American neighborhood on the west side of Macon, Georgia, United States. Coralville Transit is an American public transit system serving Coralville, Iowa, as well as providing service into downtown Iowa City via the University of Iowa campus. In addition, a one-way route to and from North Liberty runs twice a day on weekdays during the morning and evening rush hours. The service provides several routes connecting downtown Iowa City with various destinations in Coralville, such as Coral Ridge Mall, Iowa River Landing, and Commerce Drive. It is one of four transit systems in the Iowa City area, the other three being Iowa City Transit, the University of Iowa Cambus, and the 380 Express commuter bus. Coralville Transit shares several stops with these systems.

The Wilsona School District is a school district that serves most of the rural community of Lake Los Angeles, California, United States, and its surrounding areas. It neighbors Keppel Union School District which also serves part of the community of Lake Los Angeles to the south.
