Jan Rouven Fuechtener (born 8 July 1977) is a German magician, artist and convicted child sex offender. He was primarily known for his show The New Illusions which took place at Tropicana Las Vegas from 2014 to 2016. Fuechtener was initially arrested in March 2016 and charged with owning child pornography by the FBI. [1] He has been incarcerated ever since after being held without bail. [2]

On 28 February 2019 he was sentenced to 240 months (20 years) in federal prison and was ordered to pay a $500,000 fine for possession, receipt and distribution of more than 9,000 images and videos of child pornography. Fuechtener, a citizen of Germany, will be deported after serving his sentence. [3] [4] [5] He is currently incarcerated at FCI Englewood in Englewood, Colorado, a minimum security prison. [6]

Charles Rust-Tierney is a former president of the Virginia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 2002 to 2005. On February 23, 2007, Rust-Tierney was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography on June 1, 2007.

Legal frameworks around fictional pornography depicting minors vary depending on country and nature of the material involved. Laws against production, distribution and consumption of child pornography generally separate images into three categories: real, pseudo, and virtual. Pseudo-photographic child pornography is produced by digitally manipulating non-sexual images of real minors to make pornographic material. Virtual child pornography depicts purely fictional characters. "Fictional pornography depicting minors", as covered in this article, includes these latter two categories, whose legalities vary by jurisdiction, and often differ with each other and with the legality of real child pornography.

Simulated child pornography is child pornography depicting what appear to be minors but which is produced without their direct involvement.

Operation Delego was a major international child pornography investigation, launched in 2009, which dismantled an international pedophile ring that operated an invitation-only Internet site named Dreamboard which featured incentives for images of the violent sexual abuse of young children under twelve, including infants. Only 72 charges were filed against the approximately 600 members of Dreamboard due to the extensive encryption involved. Members were required to upload new material at least every 50 days to maintain their access and remain in good standing.

Eric Franklin Rosser also known as Doc Rosser, is a former keyboardist for John Mellencamp. He joined Mellencamp's band in 1979 and toured with Mellencamp for over two years. He recorded with the band on Mellencamp's 1980 album Nothin' Matters and What If It Did and on American Fool in 1982, before leaving the band. Rosser is infamous for being on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list for his involvement in the production and distribution of child pornography in 2000. He had been living in Bangkok at the time and had been on the run due to a failure to appear. He was arrested in August 2001 for carrying false information, and was extradited back to the United States.
