Joanne C. Stehr is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 107th district. Elected in November 2022,she assumed office on January 3,2023. [1] She is noted as being the first female legislator to ever represent any part of Schuylkill County,Pennsylvania.
Stehr attended Tri-Valley Junior/Senior High School graduating as part of their class of 1982. She then attended the Schuylkill county area vocational technical school where she received her license to become a practicing nurse. [1] [2]
Stehr ran on a platform of lowering taxes,implementing term limits,and protecting the second amendment. [2] In what many considered an upset,she defeated a primary challenger,Ron Tanney,with almost a 7% margin before facing Democrat Ryan Mock in the general election. She would defeat him with almost a 50% margin. [3]
Since being elected,she has opened two district offices,one in Shamokin,Pennsylvania and another in Hegins,Pennsylvania. [4]
Stehr lives on her parents' family farm which she inherited. She has two sons,Eli and Beau and is divorced. [2]

Thomas Timothy Holden is an American politician from Pennsylvania who served as a Democratic member of the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district from 1993 to 2013. Holden was the dean of the Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation during the 112th United States Congress. On April 24,2012,Holden was defeated in the Democratic primary in his attempt to seek re-election after the boundaries of his district were redrawn. He is now chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Melissa Ann Hart is an American lawyer and politician. She was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007,representing western Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district. She was the first Republican woman to represent Pennsylvania at the federal level. Prior to her service in Congress,Hart served in the Pennsylvania Senate,where she chaired the finance committee. She was the first Republican woman elected to serve a full term in the Pennsylvania Senate in 1990 when she was 28 years old. In her first run for office,Hart defeated an incumbent in a senate district that included parts of Allegheny,Westmoreland and Armstrong counties. In the 2006 midterm elections,Hart lost her bid for re-election to Democrat Jason Altmire. She challenged Altmire again in the 2008 election,but was defeated again.

Pennsylvania Route 125 is a 32.0-mile-long (51.5 km) state highway located in Schuylkill and Northumberland Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 443 in Pine Grove. The northern terminus is at PA 61 in Shamokin. The route follows a winding alignment through mountains and valleys in the western part of the Coal Region. PA 125 does not directly access Interstate 81 (I-81);however,north of Pine Grove,there is an interchange with SR 3013 just yards from the highway in Ravine. The route has a concurrency with U.S. Route 209 in Tremont and crosses PA 25 in Hegins. PA 125 was designated in 1928 between PA 25 in Hegins and US 209 in Newtown while the present alignment between Pine Grove and Hegins was a part of PA 25 and the section between Line Mountain and Shamokin was part of PA 225. PA 125 was realigned to its current alignment between PA 443 in Pine Grove and US 122 in Shamokin in the 1930s,with the former section between Hegins and Newtown becoming a realigned PA 25.
