Barry "Slice" Rohrssen is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Manhattan College. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was named the 22nd head coach in Manhattan Jaspers basketball history on April 25, 2006. Rohrssen was fired on March 9, 2011 after going 58–95 over five seasons. He has also served as an assistant under John Calipari at Kentucky and at St. John's University under Chris Mullin.

Glenn Braica is an American college basketball coach, currently an assistant coach at Fairfield University. He was previously the head coach at St. Francis College from 2010 until the program was cut in 2023. Braica was born in Brooklyn, New York and is an alumnus of Bishop Ford High School and Queens College. Braica began his head coaching career at St. Francis College in 2010 and had 22 years of coaching experience at the time split between New York City Tech, St. Francis and St. John's as an assistant coach.

The team was coached by Steve Lavin in his fifth year at the school. St. John's home games were played at Carnesecca Arena and Madison Square Garden and the team was members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 21–12, 10–8 in Big East play to finish in fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament to Providence. In 1987, she was named Big East Player of the Year. Since 1994, she has been the women's volleyball head coach at St. John's University in New York City, now an NCAA Division 1 team. In 2006, 2018, and 2023, she was named the Big East Coach of the Year. Persico has tallied 569 career victories and six BIG EAST titles throughout her 30 seasons as head coach.
