John Asman is an American sound engineer. He won four Primetime Emmy Awards and was nominated for seventeen more in the category Outstanding Sound Mixing. [1] In 1994, Asman was awarded the Academy Award for Technical Achievement. [2]

The Academy Award for Best Sound Editing was an Academy Award granted yearly to a film exhibiting the finest or most aesthetic sound design or sound editing. Sound editing is the creation of sound effects. The award was usually received by the Supervising Sound Editors of the film, sometimes accompanied by the Sound Designers. John Keen "Doc" Wilkinson was an American sound engineer. He won an Academy Award for Best Sound and was nominated for another two in the same category. He worked on more than 140 films between 1958 and 1992.

Paul Massey is an English sound engineer working based in Southern California. He has been nominated for ten Academy Awards in the category Best Sound. He has worked on 200-plus films since 1982. He won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing in 2019 for Bohemian Rhapsody along with John Casali and Tim Cavagin. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards the John A. Bonner Medal of Commendation upon the recommendation of its Scientific and Technical Awards Committee. John Warhurst is a British sound editor. He won the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing for the film Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). He was born in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
