Veterinary medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention,control,diagnosis,and treatment of disease,disorder,and injury in animals. Along with this,it deals with animal rearing,husbandry,breeding,research on nutrition,and product development. The scope of veterinary medicine is wide,covering all animal species,both domesticated and wild,with a wide range of conditions that can affect different species.

Murphy was as an electron microscopy pioneer in the field of virology,best recognized for obtaining the first electron micrograph of an Ebola viral particle at the CDC in 1976.
Walter Kurt Schrader is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Oregon's 5th congressional district since 2009. His district covers most of Oregon's central coast,Salem,and many of Portland's southern suburbs,including a sliver of Portland itself. A member of the Democratic Party,Schrader served in both houses of the Oregon Legislative Assembly from 1997 to 2008.

It advocates for issues related to veterinary medical education,oversees the accreditation process for veterinary medical schools and colleges along with the American Veterinary Medical Association,and manages the Veterinary Medical College Application Service.
Jennifer Lester Moffitt is an American organic farmer and government official from California and the Under Secretary of Agriculture for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the United States Department of Agriculture in the Biden administration;she is the first female to serve in this position. Moffitt previously served as the Undersecretary at the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
