Julesburg is an unincorporated community in west central Schuyler County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It lies two miles west of US-63 and two miles south of US Route 136. [1] Lancaster lies approximately three miles to the northeast. [2]

History

Julesburg originally served as a post office to the surrounding rural area. [3] The Julesburg post office was established in 1883, and remained in operation until 1906. [4]

The Union Ridge Conservation Area lies to the west about two miles and Spring Creek flows past the community to its confluence with the Chariton River south of Novinger.

Wilton is an unincorporated community in southwest Boone County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on the northeast bank of the Missouri River across from the Marion Bottoms Conservation Area. Ashland lies approximately six miles to the northeast on Missouri Route M and Sandy Hook lies across the Missouri three miles to the west in Moniteau County. The lone business in Wilton is the Riverview Store, which serves the local community and users on the Katy Trail.

Luna is an extinct town in Ozark County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. The community is on a ridge between Bryant Creek to the east and Pine Creek to the west and is located on Missouri Route FF. Zanoni, on Missouri Route 181, lies approximately two miles to the northwest. The community church is one and one-half miles west on Caney Creek and Missouri Route AA. The Pine Creek confluence with Bryant Creek is one and one-quarter miles to the south, at the north end of Norfork Lake.
