American rapper Kanye West has released 10 studio albums, three collaborative studio albums, one compilation album, one demo album, two live albums, one video album, and five mixtapes. All ten of his studio albums have been certified at least gold in the United States. [1] As of June 2021, West has certified 25 million equivalent solo albums units in the United States, [2] placing him among the highest-certified music artists in the United States.
West's debut studio album, The College Dropout (2004), debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, [3] and was certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in June 2004. [4] West's second studio album, Late Registration (2005), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 860,000 copies. [5] The album was the ninth best-selling album of 2005 in the United States. West's third studio album, Graduation (2007), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 957,000 units in its first week, becoming the fastest-selling album in the US since Late Registration, and breaking the record for most digital albums sold in a week. [6] West's fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak (2008), became his third consecutive number one release on the Billboard 200. [7]
West's fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with the fourth-highest digital first-week sales ever. [8] Watch the Throne (2011), a collaborative album with fellow American rapper Jay-Z, broke the US iTunes first-week sales record. [9] The compilation album, Cruel Summer (2012), released with his label GOOD Music, debuted atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. [10] West's sixth studio album, Yeezus (2013), debuted at number one in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. [11]
West's seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo (2016), made history by becoming the first album to top the Billboard 200, predominantly from streaming, while also having the second-highest total of first-week streams for an album. [12] In June 2018, West released both his eighth studio album, Ye, [13] and his second collaborative album, Kids See Ghosts (with Kid Cudi). [14] His ninth studio album, Jesus Is King (2019), became West's first to top the Top Christian Albums, and Top Gospel Albums charts. [15] [16] His tenth solo studio album, Donda (2021), recorded the second-biggest first week performance in Spotify's history. Ye is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer. He is known for his contributions to progressive rap and subverting the conventions of gangsta rap as a dominant subgenre of hip hop music. After dropping out of university to pursue a career in music, West started producing for various artists in the Chicago area. As an in-house producer for Roc-A-Fella Records, West co-produced Jay-Z's The Blueprint (2001) before getting signed by the label as a solo artist. West released his debut studio album The College Dropout in 2004 to critical acclaim, yielding the chart-topping single "Slow Jamz". His other singles reaching the top of the Billboard Hot 100 include "Gold Digger" (2005), "Stronger" (2007), and "E.T." (2011) as a featured artist.

Kids See Ghosts was an American hip hop supergroup composed of rappers Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Formed during West's 2018 Wyoming sessions, the duo's eponymous debut album was released in June of that year by Def Jam Recordings, along with their respective label imprints, GOOD Music and Wicked Awesome Records. Met with critical and commercial success, the album peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and received gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). A deluxe edition was released on November 14, 2021 and featured guest vocals from André 3000, Tyler, the Creator, and KayCyy. West himself, as well as BoozDaBeast, Dem Jointz, Mike Dean, and Ojivolta primarily helmed the albums production. West recorded much of the material at multiple locations in the summer of 2021, including Bighorn Mountain Ranch in Wyoming and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

It was produced by West, Ronny J, and BoogzDaBeast, while co-produced by FnZ and A.G., with additional production from Dem Jointz and Israel Boyd. The producers wrote the song alongside Travis Scott, Aaron Butts and KayCyy Pluto. The song was released for digital download and streaming as a standalone single on June 30, 2020, through GOOD Music and Def Jam. "Ego Death" is a song by American singer Ty Dolla Sign featuring American rapper Kanye West, English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs, and American DJ Skrillex, released for digital download and streaming through Atlantic Records on July 1, 2020, as the lead single from the former's third studio album, Featuring Ty Dolla Sign (2020). It contains additional vocals by Serpentwithfeet, Angela Davis, and Jariuce "Jehreeus" Banks. Ty Dolla Sign, Skrillex, and BoogzDaBeast produced the song. According to Ty, the song expands on West's "Fade", which he was featured on alongside Post Malone. Initially previewed after the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2019, the former experienced an internet leak in March 2020.

It was released independently by the former's YZY brand on February 10, 2024, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Ye's debut studio album, The College Dropout. Guest appearances include West's daughter North, India Love, Freddie Gibbs, YG, Quavo, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Bump J, Lil Durk, Rich the Kid and Chris Brown. Production was primarily handled by West himself, alongside the Legendary Traxster, 88-Keys, Camper, JPEGMafia, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Ojivolta, Chrishan, Anthony Kilhoffer, and others.
"Carnival" is a song by American hip hop superduo ¥$, composed of rapper Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla Sign, featuring fellow American rappers Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti. It was released through a single pack on streaming services on February 15, 2024, as the third single from the superduo's collaborative album Vultures 1. The pack also includes "the Hooligan Version", where only the choir is present, and an "a cappella" version. The digital single cover consists of a still shot from a promo short clip for the album, made by Jon Rafman, which was later released in its entirety as the music video for the song.
¥$ is an American hip hop supergroup composed of rapper Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla Sign. With the two maintaining a strong relationship during 2023, Ty was one of the select few West invited to record music with in Tokyo, Italy and later in Saudi Arabia. During the recording sessions for West's eleventh studio album, they decided to set aside some of their music and create their three-volume collaborative album series, Vultures. The duo released the first installment, Vultures 1, on February 10, 2024.
