Karen Peetz

Karen Peetz was the president of The Bank of New York Mellon from 2013 to 2016. [1] She had joined the company and 1998, and prior to her appointment as the bank's first female president, had led the bank's financial markets and treasury services team; [1] she was consistently ranked among the most powerful women in banking [1] and was ranked as No.1 in 2011. [2] [3] [4] [5]

In 2009, she co-founded the Bank of New York Mellon Women's Initiative Network (WIN), a resource group for female employees' professional development. [6]

Peetz earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Science degree from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. [5]

Chanda Kochhar

Chanda Kochhar is the former managing director and chief executive officer of ICICI Bank. She, embroiled in a case of conflict of interest, stepped down from her position in 2018. Subsequently, she was sacked by ICICI Bank - a decision which was later upheld by the Supreme Court of India. Virginia Marie "Ginni" Rometty is an American business executive who served as executive chairman of IBM after stepping down as CEO on April 1, 2020. She previously served as chairman, president and CEO of IBM, becoming the first woman to head the company. She retired from IBM on December 31, 2020 after a near-40 year career at IBM. Prior to becoming president and CEO in January 2012, she first joined IBM as a systems engineer in 1981 and subsequently headed global sales, marketing, and strategy. While general manager of IBM's global services division, in 2002 she helped negotiate IBM's purchase of PricewaterhouseCoopers' IT consulting business, becoming known for her work integrating the two companies. As CEO, she focused IBM on analytics, cloud computing, and cognitive computing systems.

Janice Fukakusa Canadian businesswomen and executive

Janice R. Fukakusa is a Canadian businesswomen and executive, and currently serves as the chancellor of Ryerson University. She was both the Chief financial officer and the Chief administrative officer of the Royal Bank of Canada for 8 years. Following her retirement from the bank in 2017 after the 31-year career, she joined 15 corporate, non-profit and government boards. She was notably part of the Canada Infrastructure Bank's board of directors as the founding chairperson, a position she held from 2017 to 2020.

Aisha de Sequeira Goan banker (1969–2020)

Julia Maria Aisha de Sequeira was an Indian banker. She was the co-head of Morgan Stanley India from 2013 through 2020. In 2007, she became the founding head of investment banking for Morgan Stanley India, and continued in this position until her death in 2020.
