The Republic of Poland is a Central European country and member of the European Union and NATO, among others. Poland wields considerable influence in Central and Eastern Europe and is a middle power in international affairs. The foreign policy of Poland is based on four basic commitments: to Atlantic co-operation, to European integration, to international development and to international law.

The Warsaw Radio Mast was a radio mast located near Gąbin, Poland, and was the world's tallest structure at 2,120 ft from 1974 until its collapse on 8 August 1991. The mast was designed for extreme height in order to broadcast Soviet propaganda around the world, including to the remotest areas such as Antarctica. As of 2023, it was the third-tallest manmade structure ever built, after the Burj Khalifa tower in the United Arab Emirates in 2009, and Merdeka 118 tower in Malaysia in 2022.
Disco polo is a genre of popular dance music, created in Poland in the 1980s. It was initially known as sidewalk music or backyard music. This genre, a type of Polish urban folk music, had great popularity in the 1990s, peaking in 1995–1997, then gradually declining in popularity through the early 21st century. The genre then had a resurgence in the winter of 2007. The Polish PWN dictionary defines the genre as a Polish variant of disco music, with simple melodies and often ribald lyrics.
The Polish Press Agency is Poland's national news agency, producing and distributing political, economic, social, and cultural news as well as events information. It was founded in 1918 as Polish Telegraphic Agency (PAT).
Orange Polska is a Polish telecommunications provider established in December 1991. It is a public company traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with a controlling stake owned by Orange S.A., the latter controlling over 50% of this stake by 2002. It operates the following services: PSTN, ISDN, GSM 900/1800 network, ADSL, IDSL, FTTH fibre Internet, Frame Relay, ATM and Inmarsat.

Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna, commonly using the shorter name Bank Pekao S.A., is a universal bank and currently the second largest bank in Poland with its headquarters in Warsaw. The Italian bank UniCredit used to own 59% of the company. It sold the bank in December 2016. Now Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń owns 20% of the company, Polish Development Fund 12.80%, UniCredit 6.28% and others 60.94%.
The Special Troops Command is the special forces command of the Polish Armed Forces. The command was formed in 2007 and is the fourth military branch of the SZ RP.
Polska Wieś is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kłecko, within Gniezno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) west of Kłecko, 17 km (11 mi) north-west of Gniezno, and 43 km (27 mi) north-east of the regional capital Poznań. In the years 1975-1998, the village administratively belonged to the Poznań Voivodeship. According to the 2021 National Census, Polska Wieś was inhabited by 242 inhabitants, of which 49.6% were women and 50.4% men.
Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1994. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) selected country's entry via an internal selection. Edyta Bartosiewicz was initially selected to represent Poland, however, she refused the broadcaster's offer and Edyta Górniak was ultimately selected to represent Poland at the 1994 contest in Dublin, Ireland with the song "To nie ja!" written by Jacek Cygan and Stanisław Syrewicz. Gorniak and her contest entry were announced on 16 April 1994.

Stopklatka.pl is the oldest Polish film website which provides information about films, television programmes, actors, actresses etc. The website was created in August 1996, however, the story of Stopklatka began as early as in October 1986, when the first radio programme was broadcast under the same title, "Stopklatka". In December 2012, the website went through significant changes such as logo and layout refreshments. Currently the database includes 60,169 films, 4,247 TV series, and 191,950 actors and actresses.
Polo TV is a Polish-speaking television channel, focusing mainly on music programming. Its owner is Telewizja Polsat. The station mainly plays disco polo and dance as well as folk, country, romani, muzyka biesiadna and foreign disco music. Aside from music broadcasting, the station also airs entertainment programmes and coverage of music events.

Wiktoria "Viki" Gabor is a Polish singer. She began her career in 2019, as a runner-up on the second season of The Voice Kids Poland, and then later won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Superhero". She is the second Polish entrant to win the contest, and her win marked the first time a country had won the contest twice in a row, and on home soil.

The Polish Initiative is a progressive political party in Poland. It was formed as an association in 2016, and was registered as a political party in 2019. Its leader is Barbara Nowacka, and it is a part of the Civic Coalition. It supports principles of social liberalism, social democracy and secularism. It has been described as centre-left to left-wing.
