The LEN Europa Cup is a new event for national water polo teams organized by LEN. [1]
The competition format consists of two phases: Preliminary and Super Final, each stage being held over a weekend.

Dejan Savić is a Serbian professional water polo coach and former player. During his playing career, he was part of two Olympic bronze medal squads, one for FR Yugoslavia at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the other for Serbia at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and one Olympic silver medal squad for Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Vaterpolski klub Jug is a professional water polo club based in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The club was established in 1923 as part of sports society "JUG". As of the 2019–20 season, VK Jug competes in the Croatian League, Regional League A1 and LEN Champions League.
The Greece women's national water polo team represents Greece in international women's water polo competitions. Since the mid-1990s, Greece have emerged as one of the leading powers in the world, becoming World Champions after their gold medal win at the 2011 World Championship. The Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni, or "NOV" is a major aquatic sports club, founded by local sportsmen in 1937 in the seaside resort of Vouliagmeni, south of Athens city centre, Greece. The club is located on the eastern edge of the Mikro Kavouri peninsula, adjacent to the Astir Palace Hotel and overlooking the bay, town and lake of Vouliagmeni.

Slobodan Nikić is a Serbian professional water polo player. He is currently playing for Orvosegyetem SC and he is a long-standing member of the Serbia men's national water polo team. His most notable achievements with the national team are the gold medal from the Olympic Games in 2016, silver from the Olympic Games in 2004 and bronze from the Olympic Games 2012, three gold medals from the World Championships in 2005, 2009 and 2015, and five gold medals from the European Championships in 2003, 2006, 2012, 2014, and finally in 2016.

Patricia Del Soto Traver is a Spanish female water polo goalkeeper. In her youth, she played with Club Natació Esplugues before competing for CE Mediterrani from 1995 to 1998, and then for CN Sabadell until 2005. She moved to Greece where she played for Ethnikos Pireaus in 2006, Olympiacos in 2007 and 2008 and NC Vouliagmeni between 2009 and 2011.
Nikola Jakšić, is a Serbian water polo player. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed for the Serbia men's national water polo team in the men's event. He is 196 centimetres tall.
Alexandros Evgenios Gounas is a Greek water polo player. He is member of the Greece men's national water polo team since 2008 and won a bronze medal at the 16th FINA World Championships and competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
