Lansingburgh High School is a senior high school in Troy, New York, and part of the Lansingburgh Central School District. [1]

It has 790 students in grades 9–12. Students identify mostly as Hispanic; White, non-Hispanic; and Black, non-Hispanic. 1% of the students have limited English proficiency and 45% pay reduced lunch prices. With a student to teacher ratio of 14:1, the school has a rating of 4, the same as the school district.

The Principal is Matthew VanDervoort. The Assistant Principal is William Behrle.

The Lansingburgh Academy was a seminary in Lansingburgh, New York. The seminary was in existence from the late 18th century to 1900, when the building that housed it was leased to the Lansingburgh School District. The building was sold to the school district in 1911. Initially used as a high school, the Lansingburgh Academy was eventually sold to the local library system; as of 2007, it served as the Lansingburgh Branch of the Troy Public Library. The Lansingburgh Academy was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

It operates under the direction of the Troy Cemetery Association, a non-profit board of directors that deals strictly with the operation of the cemetery. It was established in 1848 in response to the growing rural cemetery movement in New England and went into service in 1850. The cemetery was designed by architect John C. Sidney and underwent its greatest development in the late 19th century under superintendent John Boetcher, who incorporated rare foliage and a clear landscape design strategy.
