The Sycamore Historic District is a meandering area encompassing 99 acres (400,000 m2) of the land in and around the downtown of the DeKalb County, Illinois county seat, Sycamore. The area includes historic buildings and a number of historical and Victorian homes. Some significant structures are among those located within the Historic District including the DeKalb County Courthouse and the Sycamore Public Library. The district has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 2, 1978.

The Quaker Hill Historic District is a national historic district located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses 151 contributing buildings in a residential neighborhood west of the central business district of Wilmington. The district includes 19th-century residential structures of all classes, along with several 19th-and 20th-century commercial structures. The predominant structures are three-story rowhouse dwellings in a variety of popular styles including Second Empire, Italianate, and Gothic Revival. Notable non-residential buildings include the Quaker Meetinghouse and Cemetery, St. Peter's Cathedral and Rectory (1816), Union Methodist Church, and New Mount Bethel Baptist Church
The Bean Hill Historic District is a historic district in Norwich, Connecticut that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It consists of a well-preserved collection of buildings focused on the Bean Hill Green, which capture the 19th-century period when Bean Hill was a local center for manufacturing and commercial activity. The district is located in the vicinity of West Town Street between I-395 and Connecticut Avenue, and also extends northeast along Huntington Avenue to include properties further beyond Bean Hill Plain. The district is about 22 acres (8.9 ha) in size, with 23 contributing buildings.
The Hinton Historic District is a national historic district located at Hinton, Summers County, West Virginia. The original Hinton Historic District is bordered roughly by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad line, James Street, 5th Avenue, and Roundhouse. The boundary increase extended the district to include Mill Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and revised in 2005.
Sutton Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Sutton, Braxton County, West Virginia. It encompasses 85 contributing buildings and two contributing structures covering eleven square blocks. The district includes the commercial, ecclesiastical, and civic core of the town and surrounding residential area. The district includes a number of buildings representative of popular architectural styles from the late-19th century and early-20th century including Romanesque Revival, Colonial Revival, Gothic Revival, and Greek Revival. Notable buildings include the Braxton County Courthouse (1881-1882) and Jail (1905), Sutton Bank Building (1891), Farmers Bank and Trust (1909), Bank of Sutton, Methodist Episcopal Church, South (1896), Kelly / Fisher House. Elk / Midway Hotel (1894), and Katie B. Frame Residence. The two structures are the Bridge over Old Woman Run (1892) and Bridge over Elk (1930).

Notable buildings include the Rice House, Edmunds/Lewis Office (1869), People's Bank, Beth Car Baptist Church (1892), Christ Episcopal Church, Saint Luke's Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Dr. Carter House, County Office Building (1915), Town of Halifax Swimming Pool (1930s), Municipal Building/ Fire Station (1950), Halifax Roller Mills (1915), Halifax Planing Mill, Halifax Department Store (1949), and Randolph Theater. Also located in the district is the separately listed Halifax County Courthouse.

It is an assemblage of residential, commercial, and government buildings dating from the 18th through 20th centuries in a variety of popular architectural styles. The linear district is centered on the courthouse square. Notable buildings include the Northumberland Court House, the old county jail (1844), the former Methodist Protestant Church, Harding House, Belleville, Heathsville Masonic Lodge No. 109 (1894), Bank of Northumberland (1924), and the Heathsville United Methodist Church (1894). Located in the district and separately listed are Rice's Hotel, Oakley, St. Stephen's Church, Sunnyside, and The Academy.

Crawley House was designed by J. E. McDaniel, who was a local architect. Located in the district is the separately listed Schwartz Tavern.

Bridgewater Historic District is a national historic district located at Bridgewater, Rockingham County, Virginia. The district encompasses 127 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of the town of Bridgewater. It includes a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings most of which date from the 19th century and early-20th century. Notable buildings include the Jacob Dinkle House, the St. Claire Kyle House, the J. G. Brown House, Dr. T. H. B. Brown House, the Hite House, Childress House, Whitmore House, the O. W. Miller House, Dr. Strickler House, Masonic Lodge, Methodist Church (1841), Baptist Church, Farmer's Bank, Berlin Building (1883), Geary Building (1887), and the Lutheran Church (1881). Also included is the oldest portion of the Bridgewater College campus, consisting of five fine brick collegiate buildings constructed before 1911.
Summerville Historic District is a national historic district located at Summerville, Dorchester County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 700 contributing buildings in the village of Summerville. About 70 percent of the buildings predate World War I. The buildings include raised cottages, Greek Revival influenced, and Victorian / Queen Anne and other turn of the 20th century structures are found throughout. In addition to residential structures, the district includes churches and commercial buildings—most dating from around 1900. Notable buildings include Tupper's Drug Store, O. J. Sire's Commercial Building, White Gables, Pettigru-Lebby House Gazebo, Summerville Presbyterian Church, Wesley United Methodist Church, and the Squirrel Inn.

The Grant Commercial Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Grant, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. At the time of its nomination it contained 17 resources, which included 15 contributing buildings, two contributing structures, and one non-contributing building. The historic district covers the town's central business district. Grant is a small town located in northeast Montgomery County in the southwest quadrant of the state. It was plated in 1858, and it was known as Milford until the early 20th century even though its post office was Grant. While not on a railroad, the town was still able to maintain a viable commercial district.
The Charlotte Central Historic District is a mixed commercial, residential, and historic district located in the downtown section of Charlotte, Michigan. The district stretches along Cochran Avenue from West McClure Street to south of Henry Street, containing portions of the streets adjacent to Cochran. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
