Lazaro Alonso (born March 25, 1974) is an American actor. He is known for playing Tsu'tey in James Cameron's science fiction film Avatar and Fenix Calderon in the film Fast & Furious . Alonso has had roles in other films such as Jarhead , This Christmas , Miracle at St. Anna and Detroit . As of 2019, Alonso is part of the main cast of the series The Boys (based on the comic book series of the same name) playing the character known as Marvin T. "MM (Mother's Milk)" Milk.

Early life and education

Alonso was born and raised in Washington, D.C. to Cuban immigrant parents. He is an alumnus of Howard University. [1] After graduating from Howard University with a BBA in marketing, he had a career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch on Wall Street before making his way into entertainment. [1]

Career

Alonso began his career hosting the television shows A.M. @BET and NYLA. [2] Alonso has also appeared in music videos by recording artists Toni Braxton and Aaliyah. [3]

Alonso has had supporting roles in films such as Stomp the Yard , Down for Life , Jarhead , G, Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood , This Christmas and Miracle at St. Anna . [4] [5]

In 2009, he played Fenix Calderon, the main antagonist in the film Fast & Furious , the fourth installment in the Fast & Furious film series. Alonso had a major role as the Na'vi warrior Tsu'tey in James Cameron's science fiction adventure film Avatar . [6]

Alonso played one of the lead characters on the 2011, TV series Breakout Kings during its first season and the first episode of season two. [7]

He has made television guest starring appearances on The Unit , Bones , CSI: Miami , NCIS , The Practice and Eyes . [8] [9]

Alonso was the lead in the 2013, NBC drama Deception . [10]

Alonso also played one of the main characters, Detective Billy Soto, on the NBC series The Mysteries of Laura . [11]

In 2023, he played the protagonist of My Dad the Bounty Hunter , a dad named Terry who secretly works as a bounty hunter named Sabo Brok. [12]

Personal life

Alonso resides in Los Angeles, California. He is a Christian. [13]

Mother's Milk, or simply M.M., is a fictional character and antihero in the comic book series The Boys, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Born Baron Wallis, he is a member of The Boys, a group of CIA-sponsored vigilantes who observe, record, and sometimes liquidate "Supes" artificially created by the mega-conglomerate Vought. One of two "Supes" in the group alongside "The Female ", Wallis' mother was dosed with the superpower-inducing Compound V while pregnant with him, the result of which was her eventually mutating into a Cthulhu-like creature, and him becoming the first naturally-born Supe, prematurely aging. In order to avenge her son, M.M.'s mother then gives Hughie the necessary milk to kill Butcher.

Lego Avatar is a Lego theme based on the film series of the same name created by James Cameron. It is licensed from 20th Century Studios, The Walt Disney Company and Lightstorm Entertainment. The theme was first introduced on 1 October 2022. Subsequent sets were released in 2023, alongside the next film, Avatar: The Way of Water.
