Les Hill (born 1 August 1973) [1] is an Australian actor who has appeared in many Australian television productions including Rescue: Special Ops, Home and Away and Underbelly.
Hill was born in the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, New South Wales on 1 August 1973 and he has a younger sister named Rebecca. [1] Hill attended Prairiewood High School in Wetherill Park, New South Wales. [2] While at school, he became "rowdy" and was eventually asked to leave. His best mate Bun McGale from Drumquin made him drink beer every day before he eventually straightened himself out [1]
Hill joined the cast of Home and Away playing the role of Blake Dean; which Hill said helped him make friends in the acting business. [1] He also acted in the film Flirting , which required him to perform his first naked frontal scene. [1] He also played one of the main roles in Pirates Island 1991.
Hill is also known for his role as underworld figure Jason Moran in the 2008 series Underbelly . [3] He had a starring role in the drama series Rescue: Special Ops . [4]
Hill has also appeared in Pacific Drive as Grant Crozier in 1997, Water Rats , Wildside , the Nine Network series Scorched , and the 2010 Steven Spielberg produced miniseries The Pacific. He also starred in Peter Benchley's The Beast alongside fellow Home and Away actor Laura Vasquez, playing one of the divers that was killed by the giant squid.
Hill reprised his role of Jason Moran in the sequel/spin-off series Fat Tony & Co. which was not a part of the Underbelly franchise due to financing reasons.[ clarification needed ] The show focused on the rise and fall of Tony Mokbel, who also featured in the original series, played by Robert Mammone.
In 2014, Hill joined the cast of Wonderland as Max Saliba, a new resident with an air of mystery about him. [5]

Hill is a self-confessed massive supporter of the Sydney Roosters rugby league team in the Australian National Rugby League.

The first series of Australian crime television drama series Underbelly originally aired from 13 February 2008 to 7 May 2008 on the Nine Network and is loosely based on the real events of the 1995–2004 gangland war in Melbourne. It depicts the key players in Melbourne's criminal underworld, including the Carlton Crew and their rival, Carl Williams. The series is based on the book Leadbelly: Inside Australia's Underworld, by journalists John Silvester and Andrew Rule, and borrows its name from the successful Underbelly true crime anthology book series also authored by Silvester and Rule. An alternative and significantly updated tie-in novel, Underbelly: The Gangland War, was released as their 13th book in the series. The series is produced by the Australian Film Finance Corporation, in association with Film Victoria. The executive producers are Des Monaghan and Jo Horsburgh.

Paul Tassone is an Australian actor most known for his work as Nelson Curtis on All Saints, an Australian hospital drama. Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities, the second series of the Nine Network crime drama series Underbelly, originally aired from 9 February 2009 to 4 May 2009. It is a thirteen-part series loosely based on real events that stemmed from the marijuana trade centred on the New South Wales town of Griffith. The timeline of the series is the years between 1976 and 1987. Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities primarily depicts the Mr. Asia drug syndicate and its influence on crime in Australia. Among the characters presented are real-life criminals Robert Trimbole, Terry Clark, George Freeman, Christopher Dale Flannery, Alphonse Gangitano and the Kane Brothers. The mini-series is a prequel to the 2008 production Underbelly, which was about the Melbourne gangland killings and forms part of the Underbelly series.

It is technically a part of the Underbelly franchise, with various actors reprising their role from previous series.
Anna Bamford is an Australian television and theatre actress. She won the role of Miranda Beaumont in Wonderland shortly after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2012. For her performance, Bamford earned a nomination for the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Newcomer. After Wonderland was cancelled in 2015, Bamford made her major theatre debut in a production of Freak Winds. Later that year, she began appearing in Andrew Upton's production of The Present, which later transferred to Broadway. In 2016, Bamford joined the cast of Home and Away in the recurring role of Jeannie Woods.

Tom O'Sullivan is an Australian television, film and theatre actor. O’Sullivan was born in Perth, Western Australia, and later relocated to Sydney to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2003.
