The 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards was the 7th edition of the ceremony. The event was held on September 2, 2012 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, New York City. The event was hosted by Funke Akindele and Ayo Makun. Winners included Wizkid, Davido, Don Jazzy and Tineh Tempah.

Nneka the Pretty Serpent is a 2020 remake of the 1994 horror mystery film of the same name. It was directed by Tosin Igho with Idia Aisien playing the lead role alongside Bovi Ugboma, Bimbo Ademoye, Zack Orji, Shaffy Bello, Beverly Osu and Ndidi Obi. It was written by Adia Uyoyou.

Charge and Bail is a Nigerian comedy-drama film directed by Uyoyou Adia and co-produced by Eku Edewor and Matilda Ogunleye. The film stars Zainab Balogun with Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, Folu Storms, Tope Olowoniyan, and Eso Dike in supporting roles. The film tells the story of Boma, a high-flying graduate of law from the upper class who finds herself posted to a charge and bail law firm during her NYSC year.
