Matt Senk is an American college baseball coach who is currently the head coach of the Stony Brook Seawolves. Senk has held the head coaching position at Stony Brook since prior to the 1991 season. Under Senk, Stony Brook has won America East Conference baseball tournaments in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2019, appearing in the NCAA tournament each of those seasons. In 2012, Stony Brook won the Coral Gables Regional and advanced to the Baton Rouge Regional to face LSU. After defeating LSU in a three-game series, the team moved on to the College World Series for the first time in program history. It was the first time that a school from the Northeast had reached the College World Series since 1986.

The Cortland Red Dragons are composed of 23 teams representing the State University of New York at Cortland in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball, football, and wrestling. Women's sports include field hockey, golf, gymnastics, volleyball, tennis, and softball. The Red Dragons compete in the NCAA Division III and are members of the State University of New York Athletic Conference for most sports, except for the football team, which competes in the Empire 8 Athletic Conference.

The Cortland Red Dragons football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the State University of New York at Cortland. The team competes in the NCAA Division III, and is a member of the Empire 8. The team plays its home games at James J. Grady '50, M '61 Field at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex or Grady Field for short in Cortland, New York. The Red Dragons are led by Curt Fitzpatrick, who has served as head coach since 2020. The Red Dragons won their first NCAA Division III national championship in 2023.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Aljamain Sterling</span> American mixed martial artist (born 1989)

Aljamain Sterling is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Featherweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where he is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion. Sterling is the first UFC champion to win a title by disqualification. He also competed for Cage Fury Fighting Championship, where he is the former Cage Fury Fighting Championship Bantamweight Champion. As of April 16, 2024, he is #8 in UFC featherweight rankings and as of February 20, 2024, #15 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.

John Philip Allegrante is an American applied behavioral scientist and academic. He is the Charles Irwin Lambert Professor of Health Behavior and Education at Teachers College, the graduate school of education, health, and psychology at Columbia University, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1979.
