This is a list of churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. It covers the boroughs of Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island in New York City. The Archdiocese of New York also covers Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. [1]
This is a list of all the active Roman Catholic and Eastern Rite Catholic churches in the Archdiocese of New York. In 2014, Archbishop Timothy Dolan announced the merger of Roman Catholic 113 parishes in the archdiocese, with 31 churches permanently closing. The list includes individual churches that were merged into new parishes or were closed as a result of the 2014 mergers. This list was completely updated in 2024.

The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic Cathedral located in Camden in Camden County, New Jersey. It is the seat of the Diocese of Camden, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 as the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Built in 1864, it was officially designated as a cathedral in 1937.
The Church of St. Charles Borromeo is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Dover Plains, Dutchess County, New York. It was founded in 1866 as a mission of Immaculate Conception Parish of Amenia. In 1885 it became a mission of St. John the Evangelist's Church in Pawling, and was finally itself elevated to parish status in 1936.
The Old Church of St. Peter is a Roman Catholic church established under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York in 1837. It is the second oldest Catholic Church on the Hudson and is considered the Mother Church of the Hudson Valley because from it all the parishes in Ulster and Dutchess counties were founded. The church is also referred to as Our Lady of Mount Carmel since 1965 when St. Peter's parish relocated to Hyde Park, New York and the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel church relocated to site.
