The number of Arabic newspapers in Egypt was about 200 in 1938. [1] There were also 65 newspapers published in languages other than Arabic, [1] such as Turkish, French and English. [2] By 1951 Arabic language newspapers numbered to about 400, while 150 were published in other languages. [1] By 2011, daily newspaper circulation in Egypt increased to more than 4.3 million copies. [3]

The season started on 31 July 2018 and concluded on 28 July 2019. Fixtures for the 2018–19 season were announced on 8 July 2018.

The 2018–19 ENPPI season was the 34th season in the football club's history and 15th consecutive and overall season in the top flight of Egyptian football, the Egyptian Premier League, having been promoted from the Egyptian Second Division in 2002. In addition to the domestic league, ENPPI also competed in this season's editions of the domestic cup, the Egypt Cup. The season covered a period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

The 2019–20 Egyptian Premier League, also known as The WE League for sponsorship purposes, is the 61st season of the Egyptian Premier League, the top Egyptian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The season began on 21 September 2019 and will conclude on 31 October 2020. Fixtures for the 2019–20 season were announced on 12 September 2019.

The 2019–20 Egypt Cup was the 88th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It is sponsored by Tiger Chips, and known as the Tiger Egypt Cup for sponsorship purposes. It started with the First Preliminary Round on 15 October 2019, and concluded with the final on 5 December 2020.

The 2022–23 Egypt Cup was the 91st season of the premier knockout competition. The Egyptian Football Association oversees the Egypt Cup. It started with the First Preliminary Round on 26 October 2022, and concluded with the final on 8 March 2024.
