Malaysia Songs is a record chart in Malaysia for songs, compiled by Billboard since February 2022. The chart is updated every Tuesday on Billboard's website. The chart ranks the top 25 songs weekly in Malaysia. [31]

The chart tracks songs' performance from Friday to Thursday. Chart rankings are based on digital downloads from full-service digital music retailers (sales from direct-to-consumer sites such as an individual artist's store are excluded) and online streaming occurring in Malaysia during the tracking period. All data are provided by MRC Data. [32]

The discography of Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jay Chou consists of fifteen studio albums, five live albums, four extended plays, and one compilation album. Chou released his debut studio album Jay in November 2000, which sold over 250,000 copies in Taiwan. It received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association Singapore (RIAS) in 2020. Persatuan Industri Rakaman Malaysia (RIM) is a Malaysian non-profit music organisation, founded on 12 December 1978, as the Malaysian Association of Phonograph Producers (MAPP). In the end of the 1980s, it changed its name to Malaysian Association of Phonogram and Videogram Producers and Distributors (MAPV). It adopted its current name in 1996.

Written alongside Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith and producers Sounwave and Al Shux, the song was released on January 4, 2018, as the lead single to the soundtrack album of the film Black Panther. Its release coincided with Top Dawg Entertainment's announcement that Tiffith and Lamar would be producing the Black Panther soundtrack album. Marvel Studios confirmed the news and revealed that Lamar was hand-picked by Black Panther's director Ryan Coogler to produce the soundtrack album. The song appeared in the movie's end credits.

In Australia, "Rewrite the Stars" was released to radio on July 20, 2018. The song sees Efron's character, Phillip, serenading Zendaya's character, Anne, trying to convince her that they're meant to be together, despite their different races.

It was released on October 19, 2018, as a single from the soundtrack to the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and was later included on Post Malone's third studio album Hollywood's Bleeding (2019). An official remix features Latin singers Nicky Jam and Prince Royce.

Alif Abdullah, better known as ALYPH or Alif is a Singaporean-Malay singer, performer, songwriter, composer and producer based in Malaysia. Between 2005 and 2015, Alif was active as part of the Singaporean hip hop and R&B duo, SleeQ, along with his cousin, Syarifullah/Syarif. He is the founder of the record label Black Hat Cat Records. He signed with Def Jam Recordings South East Asia in 2019.

The lyrics are about an intense romance during a painful summer.

Dolla is a Malaysian girl group formed in 2019 by Universal Music Malaysia. Its current members consists of Sabronzo, Tabby and Angel. Originally a quartet, the group then continued as a trio following the departure of one of its original members, Syasya who announced her permanent departure from the group in April 2024. The group is known for their vocal, dance and rap elements in their performances. They signed a contract with Universal Music Malaysia and released their debut single "Dolla Make You Wanna" on 20 March 2020. Their fandom is called "iDolla".

Insomniacks is a Malaysian pop band from Kuala Lumpur. They rose to prominence with the release of their second single, "Pulang", in 2018, which charted on the Malaysian RIM streaming charts for 146 consecutive weeks, and a total of 185 weeks as of July 2022.

Stephen Christopher Sanchez is an American singer-songwriter. Based in Nashville, Sanchez released his debut extended play What Was, Not Now in October 2021. On September 1, 2021, Sanchez released the single "Until I Found You", which peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 8 on the Australian ARIA Chart and No. 14 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was nominated for Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards for Push Performance of the Year and Top Rock Song, respectively, in 2023. He has also received nominations for iHeartRadio Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards for New Artist of the Year.

"Creepin'" is a song by American record producer Metro Boomin, Canadian singer the Weeknd, and British-American rapper 21 Savage. It was sent to Italian contemporary hit radio through Republic Records and Boominati Worldwide as the lead and only single from Metro's second studio album, Heroes & Villains, on December 2, 2022. It is a remake of "I Don't Wanna Know" (2004) by Mario Winans featuring Enya and P. Diddy, which is based on a sample of the Fugees' song "Ready or Not" (1996), and itself samples Enya's "Boadicea" (1987). Winans himself returned to contribute to the song as a backing vocalist along with Travis Scott. Diddy himself would also join the artists on a remix of the song on March 17, 2023.
