National Institute of Cryptology Research and Development (NICRD) is a national-level research center for cryptologic education and research.
The institute was established in 2007 in Hyderabad. [1] It is one of the institutes which comes under the purview of the National Technical Research Organisation. [2] The other one is the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre.
It was envisioned to house simulation laboratories, and digital fortress laboratories for financial security and design. And, to develop encryption products for national security-related critical applications. [1]

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in Ministry of Defence of the Government of India, charged with the military's research and development, headquartered in Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production of the Indian Ordnance Factories with the Defence Science Organisation under the administration of Jawaharlal Nehru. It is also the home of Maulana Azad National Urdu University as well as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is a private deemed university located in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The university was founded by the late Dr M. V. V. S. Mariappan Periasamy is an Indian organometallic chemist and a professor at the School of Chemistry of the University of Hyderabad. He is known for his experiments using carbon metal bonds for constructing diverse types of molecular structures, and is an elected fellow of the Indian National Science Academy and the Indian Academy of Sciences The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 1996, for his contributions to chemical sciences.
