Nick DiPillo is the head coach for Le Moyne. [1] He was previously an assistant coach for Bowling Green Falcons women's basketball program. [2] Prior to his time with the Falcons, DiPillo was the head coach of the women's basketball team at Scranton from 2019 to 2022.

Early life and education

DiPillo is from North Brunswick, NJ. He played collegiate basketball for Rutgers–Camden before transferring to Fairleigh Dickinson [3] [4] [5]

Career

DiPillo started his coaching career as an assistant coach for Kean University men's basketball team. The Cougars compiled a 34–19 record during his two-year stint and captured the ECAC Metro Championship in 2005.

He then served as an assistant coach for the New York Liberty of the WNBA from 2004 to the spring of 2009. He would help the Liberty make four playoff appearances (2004, 2005, 2007, 2008). Among other roles, DiPillo served as post coach for the Liberty. He also coached a trio of WNBA All-Stars and three Olympians while with the Liberty, including 2007 WNBA Most Improved Player Janel McCarville.

From 2010 to 2014, DiPillo served as a skills trainer and camp director at the Monroe Sports Center in Monroe, New Jersey. [6]

In 2014, DiPillo served as Seton Hall's program director of player development. His last two seasons, he was an assistant coach. The Pirates were 94-66 in the five seasons DiPillo was on the staff. In 2015, Seton Hall won their first Big East Conference championship in program history and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1995. [7] [8]

On June 12, 2019, DiPillo was named seventh head coach in the University of Scranton women's basketball program's 45-year history. [9] In three seasons, DiPillo compiled a 58-8 record and two Landmark Conference championships and a NCAA Sweet Sixteen birth.

On June 21, 2022, DiPillo was hired as an assistant coach of Pittsburgh. [10] [11]

In May of 2023, DiPillo joined Bowling Green as an assistant basketball coach. [12]

In May 2024, DiPillo was named as the head coach of the Le Moyne College women's basketball program. [13]

Weatherspoon was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. In 2011, she was voted in by fans as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history. Pat Coyle is an American women's basketball coach. She was the head coach of Saint Peter's, between 2013 and 2018. She has served as an assistant coach for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball team. Coyle coached in the WNBA with the New York Liberty. Serving as the Liberty's assistant coach beginning in 1998, then attained the head coaching seat during the 2004 season. The Coyle-led Liberty reached the playoffs in 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008, but never won the Eastern Conference Championship.

She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Charlotte. As a player, Wright played 14 WNBA seasons for the Seattle Storm, New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx and played college basketball for the Penn State Nittany Lions. During her junior season, Tanisha helped led her team to the Elite Eight, where they fell to the eventual national champion, Connecticut. Victoria Andrea Bullett is an American former professional basketball player and current women's basketball head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Bullett played at various times as a center, small forward, and power forward. She was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.

The 2009–10 Bowling Green Falcons men's ice hockey season was the Falcons' 41st season of varsity hockey and 39th in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). The Falcons finished the year as the eleventh place team in the CCHA and in the first round of the CCHA Hockey Tournament, they lost to the sixth seed Nebraska Omaha. The team was coached by Dennis Williams in his first and only season as the program's head coach.

He also was an assistant coach in the WNBA and at several NCAA Division I universities including the University of South Carolina where he was part of two national championship teams.
