Noah Bennett is a fictional character on the NBC/DirecTV soap opera Passions , portrayed by Dylan Fergus from May 13, 2005, to August 7, 2008.
Noah had a happy childhood as the eldest child (and only son) of Sam and Grace Bennett. Noah grew up close to both of his parents, as well as his two younger sisters, Kay and Jessica. By the time the show began in 1999, Noah was already off at college and was preparing to begin his second year. He came home to visit around Christmas of 1999, though he was never seen on-air.
In 2005, Sam discovered that Noah, whom he had believed was in graduate school at King's Standish University, had dropped out nearly two years prior. [1] In reality, Noah had been making his way through life by gambling, squatting in hotels, and other activities not exactly befitting to the son of the chief of police.
Noah, going by the name Ned, met Fancy Crane at a hotel in Las Vegas where they barely survived the thugs they had crossed while staying there. Both returned to Harmony and eventually fell in love. Noah and Fancy's relationship was strained when Lena blackmailed Noah into pretending Maya Chinn, his former lover, was still his girlfriend or she would go after the people he loved. Alistair Crane, Fancy's grandfather, had arranged all of this to ensure his beloved granddaughter Fancy would break up with Noah.
After the breakup, it was implied that Noah was sleeping with several women, but was not serious with any of them, before he became seriously involved with Paloma Lopez-Fitzgerald, who recently accepted his marriage proposal. The two were set to marry in a double wedding with Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald and Fancy in prison (prior to Luis's execution), but Fancy's sister Pretty Crane threw a wrench in the works, causing Fancy to call a halt to the ceremony. Noah finally married Paloma in the July 29, 2008 episode in front of friends and family. On the series finale, Paloma told Noah that she was pregnant, and the two looked forward to starting a family.
In the book Hidden Passions , Noah's maternal grandparents were Zachary Sutter and Mercy Standish. His paternal grandparents were named Benjamin Bennett (on the show it was Sam) and Margaret Joyce. He also had at least two more uncles in addition to Hank. Information in the book has not been confirmed on-screen and is not considered to be official since the information seen on the show contradicts much of what was said in the book.

Fox Crane is a fictional character on the NBC/DirecTV soap opera Passions and was portrayed by Justin Hartley from December 16, 2002, to February 10, 2006, and Midland lead singer Mark Cameron Wystrach from February 14, 2006, to September 7, 2007. Actor Nick Stabile took over the role temporarily following the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, while Hartley's wife, fellow Passions star Lindsay Hartley was on maternity leave. Fox, as played by Hartley, was a fan favorite among Passions viewers.

Luis is forced to re-examine his prejudice against the Cranes, however, when he falls in love with the beautiful but willful Sheridan Crane.

Alistair is portrayed by John Reilly on a recurring basis from August 20, 2007, to May 20, 2008; before Reilly's contract run from January 21, 2005, to July 17, 2006, Alistair was also portrayed by David Bailey from September 27, 2004, to January 13, 2005, and by the duo of voice actor Alan Oppenheimer and body double Bill Dempsey. Sheridan Crane is a fictional character on the NBC/DirecTV soap opera Passions. She was portrayed by McKenzie Westmore since the series began in 1999. She was briefly portrayed by Shannon Sturges when Westmore was out sick in 2005. Additionally, she was briefly portrayed by Kam Heskin in 2006, when Westmore was out on maternity leave, and again in 2008, while Westmore was out sick. In early flashback sequences, Sheridan at age 12 was portrayed by Sara Paxton. When Sheridan's history was retconned and her flashback sequence age was downgraded from 12 to 6, she was played by Rylee Fansler. She is often seen as a "poor little rich girl" but her love for Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald made her true emotions rise. Sheridan was inherently a good person for much of the series, until the final year when she became a villain.
Martin Fitzgerald is a fictional character on the NBC/DirecTV daytime drama Passions. Martin was played by Richard Steinmetz from May 14, 2004, to October 3, 2006. William Bumiller had previously played the role in flashbacks from 1999 to 2000.
Antonio Lopez-Fitzgerald is a fictional character on the NBC/DirecTV soap opera Passions. Antonio is played by Christopher Douglas from October 1, 2001, to June 24, 2004. After a four-year absence, Douglas returned on July 23, 2008.

Reilly, Eve was played by Tracey Ross for the series' entire run. In 2003, actresses Amanda Maiden and Kimberly Kevon Williams played the character in flashbacks to her childhood and her time as a nightclub singer. Ross was initially hesitant to audition for the role following her negative experience on Ryan's Hope, but was attracted to the show after learning about its supernatural and fantasy elements. Her casting was part of NBC's attempt to include a racially diverse ensemble on daytime television. A member of Passions' Russell family, Simone is introduced as the youngest daughter of Eve Russell and T. C. Russell, and the younger sister of Whitney Russell. Her early appearances center on her love triangle with Chad Harris-Crane and her sister Whitney; the character later gains more prominence on the show through her experience coming out as a lesbian to her family, and her relationship with Rae Thomas. The network defended the show's treatment of Simone's sexuality as a serious commentary on the topic.

It delved into the backstories of several prominent characters on the show, and was purportedly written by town witch Tabitha Lenox.
Chad Harris-Crane is a fictional character on the American soap opera Passions, which aired on NBC from 1999 to 2007 and on DirecTV in 2007–08. Developed by the soap's creator and head writer James E. Reilly, Chad was portrayed by two actors over the course of the show: Donn Swaby and Charles Divins. Swaby left the show to pursue roles outside daytime television and was replaced by Divins. The role was the first time that either actor had worked on a television series.

Jessica Bennett is a fictional character from the American soap opera Passions created by head writer James E. Reilly. Jessica's character was played by three different actresses during the show's run: Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jade Harlow, and Danica Stewart. She was also played by model Michelle Holgate for two episodes in 2002 when Harlow was unavailable.
