Oliver Freelove (born 5 March 1977) is a British former professional tennis player.
Freelove played collegiate tennis in the United States for the University of Illinois. [1] He earned All-American honours in the 1998/99 season. [2]
On the professional tour he was more successful as a doubles player, but featured in the singles at the 2000 Brighton International and won the first set of his opening round match against Diego Nargiso, before losing in three. [3]
All of his Wimbledon main draw appearances came in doubles. He competed in the men's doubles with James Davidson in 2000 and then again in 2001 partnering Kyle Spencer, losing both first round matches in four sets. At the 2003 Wimbledon Championships he played with Helen Crook in the mixed doubles draw.
He is now in the finance industry and currently works for Marex Spectron. [4]
Lleyton Glynn Hewitt is an Australian former world No. 1 tennis player. He is the most recent Australian man to win a major singles title, with two at the 2001 US Open and 2002 Wimbledon Championships. Between 1997 and 2016, Hewitt contested twenty consecutive Australian Open men's singles tournaments, his best result being runner-up in 2005. He was also the runner-up at the 2004 US Open.

The 2022 ATP Tour was the global elite men's professional tennis circuit organised by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for the 2022 tennis season. The 2022 ATP Tour calendar comprised the Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP Finals, the ATP Tour Masters 1000, the ATP Cup, the ATP 500 series and the ATP 250 series. Also included in the 2022 calendar were the Davis Cup, Wimbledon, the Next Gen ATP Finals, and Laver Cup, none of which distributed ranking points. As part of international sports' reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ATP, the WTA, the ITF, and the four Grand Slam tournaments jointly announced on 1 March that players from Belarus and Russia would not be allowed to play in tournaments under the names or flags of their countries, but would remain eligible to play events until further notice. On 20 May 2022, the ATP, ITF, and WTA announced that ranking points would not be awarded for Wimbledon, due to the All England Club's decision to prohibit players from Belarus or Russia from participating in the tournament.
