MUKS Orlik Opole was an ice hockey team in Opole, Poland. They played in the Polska Hokej Liga, the top level of ice hockey in Poland. The club was founded in 1998, as a continuation of the 'Odra Opole' team, which was founded in 1946 and continued until the 1980s. Until the 2013/14 season, they played in Polish 1. Liga, the second level of Polish hockey. In August 2014, they obtained a license to play in the PHL. For the 2019/20 season they folded before re-branding under new ownership as Opole HK for the 2020/21 season.

GKS Tychy

III liga is a Polish football league that sits in the 4th tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season III liga referred to a league at the 3rd tier but this was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland.

IV liga is the 5th level of the Polish football league system. The current structure of IV liga was created in season 2008/09 after introducing new administrative division of Poland. 16 clubs, one from each voivodeship (province), are promoted to III liga. The bottom clubs are relegated to Liga okręgowa or V liga.

The 1947-48 Polska Liga Hokejowa season was the 13th season of the Polska Liga Hokejowa, the top level of ice hockey in Poland. 16 teams were set to participate in the playoffs, but the season was cancelled after only several games due to a mild winter. KS Cracovia, which was considered the best Polish club at the time, was named champions by the Polish Federation.

Liga, but was able to stay in the PHL after KTH Krynica did not get a league license for 2014-15.

Ten teams participated in the league: Orlik Opole and Naprzód Janów moved up from the 1. Liga while KTH Krynica did not play in the PHL as they did not obtain a license, which allowed Podhale Nowy Targ to stay in the PHL.

The 2015–16 Polska Hokej Liga season is the 81st season of the Polska Hokej Liga, the top level of ice hockey in Poland. Twelve teams participated in the league. GKS Katowice did not return to the league, as they suspended operations due to financial constraints. Three teams joined the league from the Polish 1. Liga: Nesta Mires Toruń, KH Zagłębie Sosnowiec, and SMS I Sosnowiec.

Polska Hokej Liga

The Polska Hokej Liga is the premier ice hockey league in Poland. Previously, it was known as the I Liga or Ekstraklasa from 1926 to 1999, and the Polska Liga Hokejowa from 1999 to 2013. In 2013, it was reorganized as a limited liability company and renamed the Polska Hokej Liga. It follows a system of relegation to and promotion to/from the Polish 1. Liga.

The 2016–17 Polska Hokej Liga season was the 82nd season of the Polska Hokej Liga, the top level of ice hockey in Poland. Eleven teams participated in the league. Two teams returned to the league: GKS Katowice returned after a year of inactivity, and Stoczniowiec Gdańsk was promoted from the Polish 1. Liga. Due to financial constraints, KH Zagłębie Sosnowiec, Naprzód Janów, and STS Sanok did not return to the league. Sosnowiec and Janów dropped down to the Polish 1. Liga, while Sanok suspended operations altogether.
